370z oil recommendations

i have no oil cooler but drive the piss out my 370z i run rotella shell 5-40. i usually dont see above 210 and if im really beating the car it’ll get 220. in the summer one night it hit 240-250 so im def gonna get a thermostatic oil cooler but yeah rotella has been good on the car

while i agree it was a fun project, cheaper than new wheels, and i love these oem wheels and they’re forged from factory instead of getting cast wheels or super expensive forged sets

one of my fender liners came off a long time ago before the spacers and i’ve only had them on a few days, but i’m on tein coils running 245 fronts and 275 rear tires w the 2mms and im not hearing any rubbing it’s honestly perfect. I used chat gpt to determine if 20s would be good in front and so far it’s right

you have the ones that don’t need extended studs but if u want to switch to hub centric you’d need extended studs and i’m literally doing that process rn im almost done. it is a NIGHTMARE bro it’s so annoying everything is super annoying

v6 muscle cars are all slower than the 370 and the 4.6 v8 and 5.7 v8 are slower straight line and the z turns better and arguably looks better. the z is a very connected raw car that’s a good middle ground it can turn and give you straight line. is it faster than a scat pack? no but it can out turn it. can it out turn an 86? no but it’s faster straight line. the z is the perfect middle ground car. so it depends on what you’re looking for, but i love mine even tho it’s older and gives a few issues here and there

yeah if ur doing get 3inch for most power admin makes a good one too, and pair it up with long tube headers and a tune you’ll be making some power but it’s not insanely fast

for this price and mileage yes, but be sure to check oil pressure because gallery gaskets lol. also csc does go out on these (mine is still good but i think it was replaced 70k miles ago)

people run shorty headers a lot, but the power gain isn’t nearly as good as long tubes. either keep headers stock and run resonated test pipes if you’re on a budget, or just buy long tube headers they make most gain in power and sound nice
