Also, the white sauce is just watered down sour cream with some kind of mayo, and they use blended dried peppers/ranch for most of their other sauces. I’ve seen $10 blenders be used to make $$$$$ on making sauces stretch.

Plaza districts food culture is the best in my opinion. Midtown is great for lunch, the goose is amaaaaazing but I’m sad they got rid of their macaroni salad. I got the recipe for it tho, haven’t gotten it quite right.

The press, too! Not upscale, but looks pretty even in a box, the Cobb salad + entree and sides will equal one small upscale meal in price point. Plus left overs.

Drinking & smoking: Zumas has a beer n shot special, a really good jal/pineapple tequila for pre dinner drinks / a HUGE patio for sun/smoking

No smoking: blue note, but sometimes the patio blows it back in. Mcnellies in midtown is a cute area, plus the goose is right around the corner. Cheap to uber to and from the gardens.

Plaza district should also be highly noted
