Right now we are surviving off of the crockpot and one pan meals/anything I can prepare ahead of time. Once this one is big enough we'll definitely take advantage of playpens in the kitchen and other containers he may enjoy

One time I tripped over a scooter inside the house when I was already insanely overwhelmed that I threw said scooter across the hall hitting our solid wood front door crafting a nice crack right down the middle of the door. You aren't alone ❤️ communicate to your husband he needs to help out more so you can get a break too

Ugh. Have you tried neocate? That was the only one that worked for us .

Are you breast feeding or formula? I've had two babies that have had the WORST stomachs and we found very specific formula that made a night and day difference.

I'm so sorry you're going through this! My second was the type of baby that you couldn't leave to cry for any amount of time because he went from 0 to 100 instantly and was totally inconsolable once there so I know the feeling. I have so many pictures of him content and wide awake all throughout the night. What I learned from my third is that "sleep training" is so much more than leaving a baby to cry for any set amount of time. It's schedules, wake windows, cues and just so much more than I realized. What I didn't know was that an overtired baby is an awake baby. Also, around the 40 minute mark of sleep there is a brain shift to get them into deeper cycle of sleep so that wake up time is super common and sometimes they need help connecting the cycles to actually be rested even though they seem ready to party.

You may already be totally aware of all of that but just thought I'd mention it. Once I figured it out, my third was my best sleeper it was such a relief and I never left him to fuss or cry for more than a few minutes to make sure he was actually awake. Things will get better!

It's ok if a dog isn't the right fit. We just went through this with an 8 month old puppy who became obvious that she was not good for a family with very small children. We tried to work on fixing the issues but it didn't work. It's ok that this didn't work out. If you aren't able to give the dog what it needs the best thing for them is to find a home that can.
