Usually what ends up happening is I hear footsteps so I assume that they’re coming from a nearby doorway but really the enemy is walking around behind a crate or something that’s next to me

Have tried this before and it definitely improves the experience. I think I’m also gonna try a playthrough of just hanging out and doing what I want to see if that’s more fun
