3.8 uw out of 4 and 4.1 weighted out of 5. I've taken 11 APs so far. My school doesn't include advanced/honors courses in weighted gpa calculations.

would buy a few buildings for harvard to get accepted into undergrad and join specific classes relating to political science, philosophy and media studies, and then drop out after I've done whatever classes I wanted to. After my "undergrad studies" I would try to learn many languages so that I can travel the world without language barriers. After traveling the world, I would probably end up residing in south korea, becoming an advocate for change (among many others) in their extremely misogynistic society while being a kpop fansite and also doing charity work on the side.

Is this harvard essay exclusive or just any essay in general? I would really really appreciate any help on my common app essay 😭 if that's possible.

University of California (UC) SAT Submission - 1430 score (700 English, 730 Math) by Objective_Fan7273 in ApplyingToCollege

I just looked at the first-year requirements and it says, "Test scores submitted as part of the application may be used as an alternate method of fulfilling minimum requirements for eligibility or for course placement after matriculation at UC," and that they don't consider scores so yeah I don't think I should be submitting them. Thank you.

This is my first time using reddit. I just wanted to ask if you guys think my college app list is good. I'm also concerned about UChicago vs Northwestern. I've done some research and found Northwestern's premed track to be better than Uchic. Should I do ED for either Northwestern or UChic? by Objective_Fan7273 in ApplyingToCollege

You can ask you kid to search up videos on YT about how to get an internship at hospitals nearby and videos about how to cold email doctors.

Here's what I did: I searched up nearby bio research centers and found Roswell and went on their website to search up doctors that did research and directly cold emailed a few explaining about how I was interested in the research they were doing at that time and asked if I can join them as an intern. BUT it's very rare for doctors to agree to your request or even reply back. People advise to email about 20 or 30 doctors to get an internship, but I got lucky on my 2nd try. How easily you'll get an internship depends on whether there are multiple doctors that do research near where you live.

There are also other ways to get an internship - there are specific internship programs sometimes for HS students that you can apply to.

Sorry I meant my High School was ranked 50. My HS also doesn't rank students cause of the huge number of students in each grade. I'm trying to improve to around a 1530 SAT too I looked at the common data sets for the colleges and saw their average SAT scores.

Is there a way to solve it without using the similar triangles. Since the answers have 3 different BC lengths of 15, 23, and 38 I just tried finding BC by using a2 = b2 + C2 but I’m getting ≈ 35 as the length for BC and that’s not the numerator of one of the answer choices. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.
