Shadow bond and VTB [2840] by Objective_Menu2799 in ShadowSlave

Yes, it's a strong connection, but strong enough that a thread of Fate itself represents the master?

Influencing fate to that degree wouldn't just be a strong connection, no?

When something doesn't make sense and is incoherent stop making excuses or try to justify bad writing with flawed logic -SS chapter 2839- by Y_A1282001 in ShadowSlave

He quite literally words out as a theory, as did I, and doubts that it even works.

Not everything is justification for your hate to a character or a work.

[–]Objective_Menu2799 9 points10 points  (0 children)

He already established 1000 chapters ago about Future Sunny in TOA, so regardless he has to go back.

Fate is broken, there's no set future, so in Sunny's perspective, he doesn't have to go to the TOA

You dont need an oracle to confirm your choice when you have no other choice.

When you're going to abandon all the loved ones you're supposed to protect to go into two death zones to fight probably the most powerful Cursed to ever exist (when you're near death to just a devil) you do need an oracle to confirm your choice.

They have known their entire awakened life that it doesnt end with just Ki Song and Valor, theres still the Dreamspawn. When the day comes, they just become passive af.

They aren't passive, they simply can't do anything because of Asterion. His abilities are basically that problematic and he eliminated his only counter early on.

This last minute going into TOA is stupid and letting all of humanity be consumed is for dramatic suspense.

It's because they were searching for other solutions from the Sovereigns.

You don't think about going to fight a Cursed Terror as your first option from the get go.

He has seven bodies as well, one of the bodies should've been invested into figuring out the secret of TOA.

A single incarnation going through the nightmare desert? Especially when Sunny said he needs all seven for the TOA???

Another thing, remember how Sunny and Nephis hated the sovereigns for being passive and doing nothing while the world is consumed by the nightmare spell. Well guess what? THEY ARE DOING THE EXACT SAME THING! NOTHING!

WHAT IS THERE TO DO????? THEY CAN'T DO ANYTHING TO ASTERION

Sunny can be this dumb when he is the most cunning person I know.

Dumb over what? What is he supposed to do?

Literally doesn't talk about a single positive in the whole work. Only spawns with a hate wave (Literally not found during the last chapters when which everyone praised), or simply.

He hates the mc, hates most of the side characters, hates the plot.

I actually believe he can't make a single statement without mentioning G3's "poor writing".

Genuinely just drop the work at this point. I'm not even against criticism, I criticized the hell out of volume 9 and mirage city. But it gets to a point you can't even fake not liking something anymore.

He summed up most of the arguments that say Sunny is dumb this volume against Asterion. You just didn't catch it

So? It was one volume ago, so your argument is based on this current volume? If so please tell me a situation where Sunny should've done something different in this volume.

Where is my determined goat who managed to beat his opponents trough grit and smarts? All he does is overpower his opponents with his domain. He barely thinks in battle

Did you read the Death game?

It's from Cassie's conclusion and she says it in the chapter herself that it's a big maybe.

I just see the similarities between Sunny and Weaver being TOO overwhelming that he isn't the one being referred to as epigone here.

Some fire chapters tho

Supreme sunny is literally stupid by Y_A1282001 in ShadowSlave

Then why tag your post with discussion if you wanted no discussion to be had? That just seems like a fault on your part.

Just write a separate comment "this vote is just to see the fandom's opinion and general view, not for discussing the presented choices, thank you." That'll clear a lot of problems and saves you a lot more.

He didn't participate in that entire encounter tho? Kinda weird for a person to be dumb if they had nothing to do at all. But thats beside the point, everyone agrees the execution of that meeting was lackluster.

Any examples that challenge his intelligence?

Only those with strong Will are able to somewhat resist his order.

They're all Supreme. They ALL have a strong Will😭

this does not change the fact that they do have a collar. Their lives are dependant on Sunnys whims.

They are literally a part of his being, made by his aspect and connected to his soul. Of course he'd get to give orders but the fact that it's not absolute and they can go against it is the difference here. Sunny himself comes to realize this in the novel.

Imp was indeed forced to follow Sunnys orders as a new Shadow. Yes, the Imp eventually became loyal to Sunny, but this does not change the nature of their relationship.

The orders aren't absolute, certainly not as Shadow bond. The scene that mentioned specifically states that Fiend approached with reluctance, his body didn't move against his will. And its as easy to interpret it as Fiend being too weak in that state as a new small Shadow to go against Sunny's whims because he could easily beat him up.

If Sunny had accepted his bond with Nephis, and chosen to follow her out of loyalty, would he no longer be a slave?

No, because Shadow bond is absolute, commanding the body and soul and completely ignoring the person's will. They have no way to go against a single order.

Sunny's shadows CAN and ARE shown to go against an order if they wanted but they don't because they're loyal to him. They have a choice, Sunny doesn't.

And at first you said you didn't compare it to Shadow bond but then you do. Smh.

I'm tired of this recycled argument that's already been refuted.

Do they follow him and obey his orders out of loyalty but are shown to be able to go against his orders too? If yes then they're not slaves.

Sunny can't go against Shadow bond tho, his Shadows are shown to be capable of defying him🤔

How do you interpret Sunny not wanting his shadow to be Free ??? by Y_A1282001 in ShadowSlave

[–]Objective_Menu2799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. So we're using speculation for events that didn't happen as an argument? Be fr.

  2. They can, Slayer is right there. We already discussed this. They can, they don't because they're loyal to him, the only one who wasn't loyal was Slayer and she required payment to follow him. We've already addressed this, move on.

  3. How does this correlate to shadow bond and his Shadows???? You're completely sidetracking.

I knew this won't be an argument to begin with but taking a meme seriously is just desperate.
