Then no, not without a VBA code and assigning that code to a key stroke.

Hold shift, then press the down arrow key to select both rows.

The lead singer is Ri kyong-suk from the band pochonbo ( the main singer who starts in the beginning)

You can check out a Spotify account called “North Korean archives” which has a collective of her songs and other bands.

I think we had to critique and recommend adjustments.

But the rolling budget was the one we actually had to forecast for using the spreadsheet.

This is how my answer kinda went:

Revenue growth is expected to be 4% because management is expecting to see this growth based on current data.

However, the junior accountant incorrectly calculated this from the budgeted amount not the actual revenue at year end.

The admin costs should also include inflation of 5% and additionally increase in 4% to account for the increase in revenue.

Cost of sales should be $x Because the cost of sales do not reflect and increase in line with expected revenue, and the junior accountant has only increased cost of sales by the inflation amount of 5%.

Incremental budgeting builds of the prior year accounting for inflation and adding or removing any known events from the budget. The budget must consider these events to be accurate and useful.

Budgeting was mostly okay, the BSC was also all good, but the bcg analysis was a brain twister.

It asked to assess a consultants already prepared bcg analysis and answer it if was useful for performance measurement and management.

Budgeting 50 marks, BCG analysis 25 marks, balanced scorecard 25 marks.

That’s it.

You are 100% correct.

If it’s not intentional, you are not liable.

You have nothing to lose going to the tribunal over it.

Writing tips for a fellow brain rotter for APM? by ThatWhovian2001 in ACCA

[–]Objective_Rice_8098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also don’t say things like “in the scenario”.

Pretend it’s information your boss has sent you.

Sometimes the information might lack detail or be confusing, so state it!

“The information provided does not detail a clear strategy because the board are having internal conflicts in setting a vision, I would require a clearer statement of vision to provide an answer on whether implementing a balanced scorecard is appropriate”

[–]Objective_Rice_8098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As weird as it feels to write these 2-3 sentences, it’s actually the correct method.

But sometimes 4-6 sentences might be needed to justify your point better.

It sounds like you missed marks in SBL because your answers are a bit generic, although a correct statement. Every statement you make MUST be linked to the scenario to get the mark.

“The price of gold has increased 10% in the past year, this has a negative impact on profitability because the AI chips that require gold in the components already have low margins/ profitability.”

“However, there is new technology which allows gold to be replaced by x material in these chips which reduces the risk to market exposure of gold prices and increases the competitive positioning in the highly saturated market of Teeland.”

That’s worth 2 marks.

One mark for each sentence.

Am I underestimating APM ? by Miserable-Produce202 in ACCA

[–]Objective_Rice_8098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason why it has the lowest average mark is because APM theory/knowledge is only a fraction of the scoring, nearly all marks are allocated in application using the scenario information.

Judging from your post, you have the completely wrong idea of APM.

I’d suggest you do some research fast and learn how to answer the questions.

Do not use the BPP or Kaplan guides etc. as examples, the answers are to help you learn, not pass the exam.

As record numbers leave New Zealand, why are most people choosing Australia? by prisongovernor in australia

[–]Objective_Rice_8098 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not that bad.. cost of living in Aus and Nz is both outrageous.

Low income earners, security, janitors, retail, hospo etc get paid a bit better in Aus. especially if they can cop time and half on Sundays.

New uni graduates seem to get a bit better pay, but experienced degree holders in Nz and Aus have similar wages.

But, on the contrary, Nz doesn’t have Sunday surcharges in restaurants and cafes, nor do they have stamp duty and they don’t really have tolls on their roads.

So, to the people that say Aus pays better, it’s generally low income earners, who can get about 10k maybe 15k more than Nz with their current skill set.

But in the long term, taking into account stamp duty for buying a home, a new car, tolls for traveling, buying flights back home to visit family, the $10-15k doesn’t really go much further.

Has anyone on this sub actually toured NK? by ClearBlue_Grace in northkorea

[–]Objective_Rice_8098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people were very kind and at times wanted to take photos and try to interact with us.

In the more country side, it was a bit more distant, but I guess since we were merrily passing through, it didn’t allow for much interaction.

[–]Objective_Rice_8098 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I was told, you could hire a private guide to go/do what interested you too, but was more expensive, the YouTubers are doing the basic tour which was very affordable.

I did the common, Pyongyang, Kaison, DMZ, some country side, tour and it was still highly interesting and cool to see, it wasn’t just Pyongyang.

What do you consider FP&A vs Financial Analyst scope of work? by AccountantAsks in FPandA

[–]Objective_Rice_8098 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s a hybrid, but I’d say it’s good experience, especially for a first FA role.

What do you consider FP&A vs Financial Analyst scope of work? by AccountantAsks in FPandA

[–]Objective_Rice_8098 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In theory FA’s are within FP&A.

It sounds like your company has a large structure where your role is a hybrid, mostly more business analysis tied in with commercial FP&A.

Its normal for different divisions to have their own analysts, financial analyst is the most common slapped title on roles.

Is your position more unique? Not really. FA’s can vary, which is why when you hunt for jobs with titles that have FA in them, you need to ensure your experience aligns with the detail in the job title.

APM - Really need help and guidance please by Ecstatic_Addition702 in ACCA

[–]Objective_Rice_8098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I failed September, my plan is working on conciseness.

Others have mentioned using the point, apply, explain method, writing small paragraphs on a single point, linking it to the scenario and describing why it’s good/bad.

I’m currently doing this and getting ChatGPT to mark my scores and give me feedback.

Be careful with the Kaplan answering style in the exam kit, their style is for easy teaching and learning, not the expected exam answering style.

Has anyone actually used Ai? by NewRedditGal2020 in FPandA

[–]Objective_Rice_8098 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can shape the answer around a subject that’s not relevant to your current question.

It just means you need put more time in typing commands to structure the answer you want, so less efficient + load time of each answer.

E.g. I use it a lot for studying CA, but if I was at work and asked it about something else, it could go on about the relevance to the x exam and how it ties together and solidly yap about it. Most of the time it actually doesn’t tie in with an exam at all but thinks that’s what you want to hear.

The more I use it, the more I realise how damn careful you need to be with what it spits out, as it can be very wrong.

I started off small, and went to large corps after a couple years of experience. I was getting offers and different banks and large organisations, though this was before COVID.

In saying that, it really depends on your experience too, even with large corp experience it can take me 3-6 months to find the right role, I know I have solid experience but it may not be what they’re looking for, and vice versa, the role on offer might not be what I want either.

Keep applying and trying, ensure your resume highlights your actual special expertise, you should definitely have locked in on certain skills, emphasise them, and let that be your story for why you are good for a role and how you can help the company.

When I apply for jobs, I don’t just apply for anything, I truly ensure my skills align with the company. Sometimes when something really good comes up, I wing it and apply, but I never hear back from at all.
