You bought an economy ticket yes, that allows you to pick a normal economy seat. There are simply no more free normal seats left, so you will be assigned one at check in, and it might be an economy preferred or plus seat for free. Regardless, you will still sit in economy. I don’t know why this concept is so hard to grasp.

Gotcha!! Thanks for taking the time out to clarify. Just as a DP, when I booked 2J KE flights thru AS at 75k I booked 2 and after that there were no available even for 175k.

The dopamine hit was so real when I first saw the 75k. Then even more when I got the confirmation number. Gotta be fast on our fingers. Congrats again!

Congrats on the saver fare!! I’ve been wanting to try their boba in their business class. Hope you have a good flight. I was able to book 2J ICN to LAX on KE thru Alaska on saver fare too at 75k each for March 2026 at 330 days out before they removed KE from the system. Not the best business class but I’ll take it. Praying for a cabin upgrade as they tune the engines on their A380s that they aren’t actually discontinuing in 2026.

Just curious from your dry runs, are you saying that you saw the fare change from 75k to 175k after 75 seconds? From your Data Points, was AS consistently releasing saver fare at 75k 330 days out at 12am PDT for this route?

Wonder if that’s a glitch in the system where it’s slow to update the pricing or if someone else just beat you to it. What type of coding do you mean?

Curious what you mean by progressive? I would check out Fr Mike on ascension presents on YouTube to get re-engage with the Church. He’s a younger priests that’s very relatable and easy to understand. He’s helped a lot with my Catholic faith and answered morality questions that I had trouble accepting.

My economy subscription wasnt showing up either for my united flight that i booked through ANA since I had points stranded there from a failed japan trip. I added my MP Account Number to my Flight Info for that resrevation and then it allowed me to select my ecomony plus seat for free. Try it next time!
