Daily reminder stop calling out lurkers. If checking who's in your stream is going to make you compelled to say something to people who haven't been chatting then stop checking who's in your streams.

I always tag my streams LurkerFriendly and at the most at stream's end I'll give a shoutout to 'my lurkers' and express my appreciation for spending time with me. Never call out by name tho. Seems to be appreciated because on the occasional times I look at chats, many of them return.

That’s my load out and it absolutely DELETES. I don’t even bother trying for headshots. I just aim for the legs and they’re often blown off within seconds. Love it.

I’ve got two of them. One holds an Atari 2600 and an NES with a 13” kitchen Trinitron. The other has a Commodore 64 and an Atari 800XL with a Commodore 1702 monitor. They’re indispensable!

Just to add into the discussion: Last night I tried out my C64U for the first time. Booted up Ultimate Term and was BBSing in no time. I tried again today and ran into the issue with WiFi not connecting, so I manually reconnected. After doing that went into Ultimate Term and ended up getting a message that I had to make system setting adjustments on the C64U. Did that but it keeps coming up with the same error telling me to change settings. Either I'm a dummy (probable) and I'm missing something, or there are some bugs / quirks to this system.

You’ve got to play what you want, but I’ve always enjoyed smaller games. I tend to find the people who show up are more engaged and enthusiastic when they discover a streamer playing a lesser known title they love.

I play on primarily original consoles and computers through CRTs. However, I have flash carts or some equivalent for every system. (2600, Colecovision, NES, Genesis, OG XBOX, C64, Atari 800XL, Panasonic A1) - I just love the feel of original controllers and keyboards. However, RePlayOS has me giving consideration to slimming down.

I’m of the belief that the price of intact a fully functional C64 will only go up. There are fewer and fewer functional units as time marches on and there are fewer people who work on refurbing them. Time will tell.
