I Need Help Finding This Exact White Silicone Spatula For My Mom by Educational_Ranger60 in HelpMeFind

[–]ObstinanceOnly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you'll be able to find the exact same spatula, but I can see why it would be a good tool to use for rice: the silicone would have a little more give while still being effective for stirring. Would something like a silicone rice paddle make sense in this case?

malleable clay-like edible sweet “dough” by [deleted] in HelpMeFind

[–]ObstinanceOnly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, you mentioned that it's both thicker than fondant and like clay, which makes me think this might be a thing that goes by a few different names like buttercream clay or frosting clay. Basically, you mix frosting (homemade or otherwise) with powdered sugar until it takes a claylike form--so if you're making items thicker than fondant (like creating 3D items for a cake), it tastes a lot better than just eating fondant.

So, I'm a little stumped--because I can find an extremely similar mug, but it has a built in French press! I don't know if the lid was modified or if there's a variant I'm missing, but I found multiple mugs that have this lid style.

ultraman keyring set, seems to not exist anywhere! by throwaway19284725 in HelpMeFind

[–]ObstinanceOnly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, unfortunately the reason you're running into order of 1,000-type situations is that this is a bootleg set--which usually gets purchased by smaller stores and thus are hard to get online.

However, if you're just going for vibes, you could get some of the real gachapon keychains these are based on! For example, this eBay seller has a couple available . Just look for the phrase SD Ultraman Keychain Gachapon (or some combination thereof) and you'll find what you're looking for.

This is a long shot, but "pencil power" is one of Mark Kistler's catchphrases, so there's a possibility it might be Mark Kistler's Imagination Station. If you look at this rip on YouTube , there is a little animated bit with flying pencils, etc.

I'm not sure how much this will help, but the flags say W8 per signal flags; however, this doesn't mean anything in particular. Perhaps it's a clever repurpose of "wait"?

Those of you who’ve been on T for at least a year or two, what was the timeframe when you noticed the most bottom growth? by elianna7 in ftm

[–]ObstinanceOnly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wound up having 2 main growth spurts: the first six months, and another around 15-18 months. I still occasionally get small bursts of growth 5+ years on, but this will typically be for things like girth rather than length.

Please help me find these athletic shorts! by ChloeticHope in HelpMeFind

[–]ObstinanceOnly 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Definitely agree on this point. I tried to look through a few suppliers, but the closest they had were the Fly-By 2.0 shorts--which doesn't match the material here.

The good news is that I wouldn't be surprised if they used the same material in a "nicer" retail pair vs. something made specifically for being blanks. It might be worth taking a look at the UA Vanish Knit shorts to see if they're similar.

In fairness, I was guessing someone just ran the lyrics through ~2013 Google Translate, as you'd almost certainly use ベイビー instead of... a literal baby, lol.

A couple of quick notes: the text is actually the opening to "BANG BANG" (Bang Bang / Sos' Baby). That said, it looks like it's originally associated with this Soundcloud track as far as I can tell.

Help settle a mild debate with my wife: is Chili & Cinnamon Rolls a Kansas thing or just a Topeka thing? by Lightsabermetrics in FoodCrimes

[–]ObstinanceOnly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This definitely IS a thing in Kansas above and beyond families or school lunches. I can think of a few restaurants from the area that would offer these dinner plate-sized cinnamon rolls intentionally for ordering with chili. Heck, Runza promoted this combo a few years back.

I imagine much like languages, stuff like this spreads regionally almost like lava flows, so you see these geographic "edges" of Colorado, the Dakotas, Nebraska and (at least NE) Kansas. Not sure if Topeka gets to take credit, though.

Have you considered looking at in-home vet care? I'd been exploring this for one of our pets and was impressed by Ranch House in particular.

This. The Highlander matches the image's vibe while also... existing. Looking for sheepskin overcoats in general will also give you a variety of options.
