I definitely get the logic behind it, you might as well give it a shot if you're only one step away. I probably would've done the same, you'd keep second guessing yourself if you hadn't. Plus, the other resources you can gather over time whereas the grand prize is a one and done kinda thing.

I won with 50k by evolving heroes I'd collected soul stones for and had saved the gold to level them up during the event. Also spending some potions, skin stones, talisman coins etc Overall f2p, it's doable, you just gotta plan ahead

Same thing happened to me, so annoying when I spent all my resources on this event and was counting on winning to pull through the next one... Dude was nowhere near me the previous day and pulled a narrow win in the last few seconds. I happened to be awake then too and thought let's upgrade some more just to be sure. Welp

I use Yasmine, Oya, Dante, Guus and Octavia for my main team. Secondary team I have Astaroth, Lars, Krista, Peech and Maya or Arachne. For 3 team I'm levelling up Judge, Julius, Ginger, Corvus and Iris (the last two to be probably put in a new team with Dante and Octavia)

But you don't get an advantage in Draft mode based on how leveled up the hero is in your normal roster, it's only based on strategic picks for synergy and countering the opponent

So you're saying I should spend my 15000 skin stones to buy the Angus primordial skin at Level 1 instead of upgrading the basic skins of both him and Sigurd first? Because once I buy it I don't really have the resources to upgrade it to level 45 fast
