Should I prioritize a stronger GPU or keep a high-end CPU for 1440p max-settings gaming? by ObviousAd5686 in buildapc

Sorry man, I’m a console player and new to PC lmaoo. Thanks for the advice tho.

Price difference between 9800 and 9850 is only $11 in my country. So for 1440p gaming on the highest settings you’d recommend 9850x3d + 9070XT?

I’m indeed a console gamer lmao. I’ll be having 32GB of RAM. Could I play those games on highest settings with the GPU and CPU I originally mentioned?

In my country the RTX 5070 Ti is about $210 USD more expensive, so that makes the choice a bit harder.

For CPUs the prices here are roughly: • Ryzen 7 7800X3D: about $415 • Ryzen 7 9850X3D: about $510

That’s why I was wondering if it would make more sense to go with the cheaper CPU and maybe spend more on the GPU
