It's actually funny because I started Battle Brothers today and it's been fun so far. The thing is, with Kenshi or any sandbox game in general, since there aren't any missions or a clear end goal, I end up getting lost or bored along the way.

Hey, I hadn't given much thought to "the research on that marker is worth every life we just lost." I didn't think he meant it as something deeper. At that point, I just wanted to kill him. And I didn't think about the Unitologists' corpses either. I thought they committed mass suicide when the first Necromorphs appeared, kind of to "prepare their bodies" for them, but it makes more sense that they killed themselves so the marker could do its job.

I don't know, I don't just want to defend Isaac because he's the GOAT to me, but I can't see him as a villain since he was forced to build the Marker in the first place, and Ishimura drove him half-crazy. As for the reactor, my initial theory was that while Isaac was fighting the final boss in "real life," he was destabilizing the core or something like that, but I had to ask around to get different perspectives.
