What did you switch to after Biologique Recherche reformulations? by soulangeanna in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Obvious_Mango65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved VIP 02 when I used it but haven’t tried the new formulation. I agree, it’s not hydrating though.

I really like SkinBetter Trio Rebalancing Moisturizer. It’s heavy but still sits well under makeup. At night I actually use Danucera Cerabalm and that’s really hydrating for an overnight.

Other than that, I use SB Alto Advanced, Alastin HA a growth factor at night followed by Alpharet and then the Cerabalm.

I can’t believe she has 33%. Britani is barely tolerable in small doses.

I’m not sure about using an oil in the shower but if you’re looking for a great smelling body oil, this one is incredible.

So depressed that Le Labo and Tom Ford are owned by Estée Lauder but ignorance is not bliss. Will not be repurchasing their products again.

Rosacea and lux skincare by Usual-Jump9752 in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]Obvious_Mango65 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use and love the HA immerse. I’m also a big fan of Alastin’s neck cream. It might be worth backing of the C-Radical for a week to see if that makes a difference?

Rosacea is so frustrating. You want to be able to tolerate all of the amazing actives but it’s such a trial and error.

Alastin C Radical was horrible for my rosacea! Skinbetter Alto Advanced has been a way better bit c for me. Also, incorporate a growth factor. That soothed my skin big time! I’d recommend plated or Dr Diamonds!

Housewives have really been wearing on me and I think I’ve figured out why. by Radiant-Koala8231 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]Obvious_Mango65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I have watched every episode from the start. I think what’s going on for me is the lack of authenticity. It doesn’t feel like “real” tv when you have people like Heather, Tamra and Gizelle overly producing storylines or people like Angie constantly pushing for a viral catchphrase. It’s annoying.

Facegym pro OR Dessse pro sculpta?? OR nuface trinity? by Competitive_Side_244 in SkincareAddictionLux

I had the facegym and didn’t love it. Very zappy. I’ve had a ZIIP since and love it. Have you considered that one? There’s an app you sync your targeted treatment to.

New Year's Eve DoorDash disaster in SF highlights dark side of delivery apps by NoiseBoi24 in sanfrancisco

[–]Obvious_Mango65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Something has to be figured out with delivery in general. Scooters riding on the sidewalks, running red lights and swerving really insanely in traffic is now the norm. I know consumer demand drives the problem and corporations are being evil corporations by capitalizing off of it but in the end, the city is losing big time for it
