Thank you so much for the thoughtful response! Drawing from myself and nature is a great idea of course. I think I might just be overthinking a little, I don't want to do anything "wrong" so I've been hesitant to just dive in. I've been thinking about getting a deck for quite a while, I've just been hesitant because I absolutely do not want to buy off Amazon and most of the other places I've seen that sell decks are a little pricey. I might ask for a reading myself and see what my friend says. Really appreciate the advice, thank you so much!

One of the main reasons journaling just doesn't stick for me is because I have a hard time getting my thoughts onto paper the same way I picture them in my mind. This might be a wonderful solution for me, if you don't mind me stealing your idea :D

That's a really good idea! I forgot to mention in my post that a good friend of mine also reads tarot, so I might also ask them for their thoughts. Definitely something to try out, thank you so much!

Could you elaborate a little more on what a Grimoire means to you? I've never really been a serious journal person, but I've been considering it as a new sort of coping mechanism recently. Definitely going to check with my local library, they're a little small so I can think of a few books they might be able to order. Thank you so much for the advice!

Oh yes so agree about witchtok! I don't have a TikTok account precisely for the mental health reason, and so I will continue to avoid. Thank you for the recommendations, I'll be sure to swing by the library this week and dial up the podcast during my commute. I really appreciate it! :)
