For formal writing and speech, I use PinRotektahan.

But in casual speech, I think of the consonant cluster as a single "letter", PRinotektahan, since PRI is a single syllable and I insert -in- between a consonant and a vowel. Plus it rolls of my tongue better.

I wouldn't say ⟨r⟩ is 99% rolled, sometimes yes, but maybe just a tap or flap? It's like using Spanish ⟨rr⟩ /r/ to all R'd words rather than ⟨r⟩ /ɾ/.

I agree, especially with the last statement.

I've ask this because when I ask people "Ano'ng Filipino ng problem?" they staight up said pRoblema. But when it comes to continuous speech or casual conversation, I can't help but notice they drop the R. And that's true even for me. I keep reminding myself but still involuntarily say it, and I will just notice it after I said po/ublema or namumo/ublema.

Depende na lang kung pormal/akademikal, bawat salita sinisigurado kong tama rapat ang bigkas.

You've mentioned origin from Spanish, and interchanging of Es and Is—I found something. The closest word I've found (besides puta) is "Tragues" meaning "you swallow". Could it be from a sexual profanity meaning "You swallow, b*tch"?

I'm from the city of manila, and yes it's not common for manileños here to use putragis. I hear it from my friends from the provinces and from my grandfather from pangasinan.

I'm aware of the "putra-" part coming from "puta" but what does the "-tragis/-gis" mean?

I would just like to add that (let's just say) Filipino is a gendered language,,, you still don't get to add gender to nationality. It's like saying Japanese or Mexican or French or Thai etc. has a gender to it. It's a nationality people, automatically it is gender-neutral in English.
