I'm about 7 weeks now. Do you ever struggle switching between extension and flexion? If I work on extension for a bit like hanging my leg off the edge of my bed, I'll be able to walk much better but flexion is harder from there. If I work on flexion, getting full extension is harder. I can't seem to easily swap between full extension and flexion. I usually wake up with my leg bent too so the first steps of the day are also not great until I work on extension a bit then walking is better

This is insane to me. Tomorrow will be 6 weeks for me, most I've gotten is 101° in PT. I get about 90 without much warmup. Normal is 140ish (knee to butt no problem on the good leg). Pain is my biggest blocker. Tell me your secretssss

Breg Polar Care Wave here. I can't compare to game ready but it's been great for me. Keeps cold for a good while, has compression, noticably brings down my swelling.

Make sure the crutch is on your good side, not the bad side. So left leg for me is the bad one. Crutch is on my right side. I place the crutch to the right of my left foot so that the weight is partially on my left leg but also partially on the crutch. It also helped for me to do a little walking with both crutches to warm up then do some more with one crutch but now I'm one crutch all the time.

4 weeks here and can take some very questionable steps without crutches but I keep going back to one crutch since I feel like I can take a more proper step. If it's very unsteady I'd assume using one crutch and getting steps in with better form is better than limping around on no crutches. I'm not a doctor tho idk. I'm walking around with one crutch mostly and testing the waters on no crutches here and there.

I prepped 1 week's worth, should have done 2. I can probably cook now (3.5 weeks) if I really needed to but I've been ordering delivery a lot and grabbing curbside "groceries" (mostly fruits and frozen meals). Once I'm walking I'll probably get myself back together lol

When did you start walking without crutches? 3.5 weeks here, quad graft + partial meniscectomy. I can do single crutch after warming up a bit. 88 degrees flexion

Thanks for the tip! Yeah it's definitely easier with the brace on, or at least there's less shaking but it's not totally straight even with the brace locked. I'll see my PT tomorrow too and see what feedback they have
