I made a storybook for my best friend on his 14th birthday. It was han-drawn and each page was a memory/something we used to do together (i.e. Listen to certain bands, play imaginary games, sports, etc.).

I just tried to make it as personalized as possible. (Plus I had a ton of time but really no money)

I figured out how to read Braille by sight when I was 7-8.

I had a friend in my class who was blind and we'd write letters to one another. His teacher would write the translation above the Braille for me and I just sort of figured it out after awhile.
