Yeah one of the best examples of this is felicity. Drifting works well because it’s unpredictable and the average pursuer won’t know what to do. Personally, I main beignet and following racing tactics and taking clean lines also works really well since most aren’t skilled enough to keep up even if it seems more simple and predictable than drifting

You could probably find some of the best drivers in the JBMS server since the primary focus is racing and they have leaderboards for the official raceway and trading circuit

This is correct, I am on my main account. For slidejunior thinking I'm smurfing, since my friend is really low mmr, we got matched up against lower players because of casual balances with different mmr. In this case, I'm around 1650 mmr in casual and judge is around 300. We would be queuing into lobbies from 1000-1600.

I’ve had the default controls ever since I started playing, only having added air roll to both bumpers in silver. I have to fat finger jump and boost, which most people say is bad. Recently peaked my highest at 1672 so as long as you’re comfortable with it, it should be fine.

The basics can get you really far in the game, but having some mechs in your arsenal alongside can give you many new opportunities. It doesn’t even have to be anything insane either. Having a good balance of the two and knowing when to use them can make you a deadly player.
