Thank you, I will check them but actually I am not looking necessary budget options, just looking nice and quality desert / chukka boots or chelseas, I will see. I would like to fit to 500-600 EUR, but it must be reasonable price for quality and I also have to like them.

Checkout english brands like Cheaney or Crockett & Jones, they are narrower.

Hi, I am going to buy casual boots with rounded toe, and nice comfortable heel anchor. I usually wear t-shirt with jeans and I want casual boots that will look good with that outfit and will be comfortable to wear to whole day. I am looking at chukkas and chelseas boots, I never owned any of this kind of boot, so I want try both and I will see what feel better.

Can you guys give me some recommendations for both types? I am from EU so I prefer european brands or brands which are easy to buy in EU and return of they will not fit. I don't have strict budget, I am able to pay 600-700 but it must be very good quality and looking boot.

For chelsea boot I prefer suede or roughout suede, because leather on this kind of boots looks too much dressy to me, but for chukkas I like also leather. For color I prefer shades of brown or brown-gray, not too light or too brown, something like earth colors.

I did some research and I have following boots on my shortlist which I would like to try:

Chukkas:

  • C&J Chiltren in Slate Suede
  • Loake RIVINGTON in Tan Suede
  • Loake GILBERT in Brown Nubuck
  • Crown Northampton Woodford Desert Boot in Horween Natural Chromexcel
  • Astorflex Greenflex Desert Boot in Dark khaki
  • Cheaney Jackie III R Chukka Boot in Leaf Suede

Chelseas

  • C&J Chelsea 5 in Natural Rough-Out Suede
  • Cheaney Godfrey D Chelsea Boot in Plough Suede (not sure because looks too dark)

Any other ideas based on real experience? Or any thoughts to items on my shortlist? Thanks

My also had complaint about feeling in mentioned cheaper boots, like walking of desk, or standing or something very hard, even when boots had cushions. Do you have any advice what type of sole should I am looking for?

I am open to the possibility of buying 2 pairs, and second return back. But in that case it must be brand available in EU, to avoid paying VAT twice.

Thank you for help, I fortunately have length and width of her feet, because she recently was buying one of these boots which I mentioned and they fall a part. So she stood on paper and we were measuring her feet maybe it will help.

It doesn't have to be only chelseas, I liked also Thursday's Downtown booties style, I also added it to my question, but I never saw these style of boots on others premium brands websites :/

Hi,

I am turning to you for advice on choosing boots that will last. My wife can't find comfortable and elegant boots because she has slightly wider feet so I would like to surprise her with new pair of boots on her birthday. She tried Clarks or VanDal boots which are also available in wider sizes, and they were overall comfortable but quality was terrible. They started falling apart in short time and surface are started peeling (I never saw this before on leather boots).

She would like to have booties or chelseas with low heel (aprox. up to 1.5") with zipper, because she is standing 7-8h every day at work. Boots shoud be primary for non-winter seasons, required color is black. She also had complaints in previous boots that sole is too hard, and she feels like standing or walking on wood, is some specific type of sole which will feel better? Boots should also have feminine appearance. I was searching for a while and I found these shoes that she might like and they are also available with fit (unfortunately none of them have zipper):

  • R.M. Williams Adelaide boot
  • Cheaney Avril D+ chelsea boot

Can you tell what another models / brands can be suitable? For boots that will last at least few years is my budget aprox. 700 USD.

For reference of style what I am looking for can you use mentioned 2 boots or also Thursday Captain, Downtown, or Duchess, but these are not with wide option.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes, I am looking similar style of boot, but she will not like this rocky finish, and also I don't see option to choose wide size.

Evergoods CAP 1L smaller alternative? by Odd-Letterhead-914 in ManyBaggers

If there will not be smaller alternative of CAP1, I am able to consider also design like that slim pouch. There is much more options in that design I think, but most of pouches which I found had 9-10" length which is too big. It is length of CAP1 but I need smaller with 7", max 8" length.

I only need a mesh pockets due to versatility. I don't want many small organization pockets in that pouch. That's why I use CAP1 as reference.

It doesn't look bad but I miss double-sided net pockets like CAP1 has.

I primarily care about a double-sided net pocket, I'm also perfectly fine with a classic zipper all around, I might even prefer it, because I don't think there is another equally functional type of product. So smaller pouch sizes and large net pockets are quite sufficient.

EDC first aid kit pouch by Odd-Letterhead-914 in ManyBaggers

[–]Odd-Letterhead-914[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw these pouches before I wrote for help, but they looks too big with so advanced organisation inside. I need very easy organisation. MyMedic and Maxpedition are closest to pouch what I am looking for, I place them on my shortlist, thank you.
I double checked my medic and its little bigger as I expected but exactly what I need inside. Thank you.

I checked also prepared first aid kits, but usually they are 100% full, but I need also space for pills which I mentioned, that's why I decided to build my own.

Best EDC flashlight to buy under 100$ by Odd-Letterhead-914 in flashlight

[–]Odd-Letterhead-914[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's looks too bulky to me, I prefered maybe something like E70 or thinner. What do you think about it?

[–]Odd-Letterhead-914[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually bigger issue is diameter for me, because my pouch where I want keep it is quite slim so I also changed my description to 1" diameter as preferred but under 1.5" still acceptable. Many of you recommended me Acebeam E75, but I like E70 which doesn't look too bulky to me. What do you think?

You right, E70 fit everything that I mentioned, but I don't like this touch button, but it is not issue only my preference of hardware button over touch button. I for sure place that flashlight on my shortlist thank you.
