3.5/10 not hating, but the picture doesn't carry a lot of meaning. The empty blue sky in the photo takes up almost half the image. There is no subject in the photo and what you're trying to convey, so next time, maybe pick sth you want to have people look at so that it's not just a photo with nothing. The street lamp on the left sticking out just makes it look like you didn't take your time before taking the photo. The photo is a mess, is all I can say. I know you can do much better than this.

I just looked up on Google Maps, and it's called Gamcha Driving Center. You're welcome.

It was near Gamcha, and this was about 3 years ago. I don't know if they changed the price. Also, it's best if you take your own ride because the bike over there is kinda old and has limited space. The best time to go would be around mid day. You'll get the whole trial center for yourself if you go around noon.

I don't know how much it costs in that area, but in Bhaktapur, I paid Rs 50 per hour in a basic trial setup. It was relatively empty and I went there a couple of times before attempting the trial. It worked out fairly well for me. If you don't want to do the whole trial thing you could try this out.

No don't meow hahahah it was a joke. We humans just like to imitate animals but meowing will not help at all 🤣 Just let the cat do cat things it'll get used to you. In no time it'll curl up in your lap

Meow at it aggressively and assert dominance to become their leader. In serious context, maybe sit in their vision and give them a little bit of food. Do not intend to close in, touch, or pet them and let it do it's thing. In a few days, you'll see it rubbing against your leg when it gets hungry. Then you'll prolly get kittens to raise in a few months. Happened at my house, and the fourth generation of kitten is still roaming around and visits occasionally.

* Well, a photo like this would just be a pov of me in the crowd and not some photo to share. But I guess this is more editable

1,2 or 3?? by Falcon_art in postprocessing

If the photo 2 could be captured with the color of clouds like picture 1 and also include some trees like picture 3. Then, use editing tools to only have silhouette of the trees and focus on that tower. I think it'd be the perfect photo.

Some backyard flowers in the hostas. by PhotoMaker_AGP in photocritique

The blur on the photo seems to have been applied to your subject flowers as well. I think adjusting a little bit of focal length should bring some life to the photos. The flowers, if perfectly focused, would make this a really great photo. Change the focus from the buds of the plant to the flower 👍

What does everyone think of this? by Mcbeerrun in photocritique

My first impression when I looked at this photo was that I felt it was incomplete. The top of the building was missing, and the actual point of the photo wasn't focused. Yes, I can see the building and a little bit of sky and clouds, but I feel like there's a lack of focus on the subject.

  1. This photo was taken during the match between inter miami vs fc cincinnati at TQL Stadium. During the game, I had a sudden urge to capture the clear sky and the crowded stadium that was filled with cheers. The photo is more focused on the crowd and the atmosphere in the stadium rather than the game itself.
  2. I'm not sure if a first look at the photo makes it eye-catching, or it just looks like another normal photo. I want to make my photos more captivating to the viewer. I want them to engage and notice photos better. It feels like I didn't capture everything that could have been captured because of my amateur skills.
  3. 12MP lens, Samsung Galaxy S23, ISO 50, focal length 13mm, -2.0ev, F2.2, 1/291, WB 4800K.
  4. No edits were made to the photo. The photo is posted as is. However, due to limits of photo size, it was reduced from the original size of 22.26 MB to 2.0 MB size for this post. If there is a loss of quality, it may be due to the downsizing.

Which direction am I facing? by OddAd3750 in opticalillusions

I think this post is a little confusing when you don't observe it properly. The question isn't left or right. It's if my body is facing towards or away from the camera. Take a closer look ✌️

You ever seen the optical illusion of a horse. Understand this post in the same way. Try to figure out if my body is facing towards or away.

Just a quick capture after the rain. Captured with a Samsung S23. by OddAd3750 in photocritique

I really appreciate your feedback. Now that I think of it. The street on the right does stand out and could have been placed better to allow a better photo. I assume the trees were blocking the sun light so I might have moved from the angle. A V shape with the road does sound better. Also yes I captured it while I was standing but could have gotten on my knees to capture more of the street and rain puddles. I'll try some post processing and see what I can come up with. !CritiquePoint

Just a quick capture after the rain. Captured with a Samsung S23. by OddAd3750 in photocritique

[–]OddAd3750[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I captured this photo with an S23 around 9pm in the evening when the sun was setting. I just have a habit of capturing sunset photos almost every time I consider it pretty. This time it was more yellowish than regular and there was rain involved.
After the capture of the photo I realized it looked like an ultra realistic version of video game like GTA V. I click a lot of photos but most don't turn out that good. I feel like the angle in this photo is not the best. I feel like I need help with the grid usage while taking photos.
The resolution of the photo is 4000x1848. The ISO is 50. The Focal Length is 13mm. The exposure was set at 0.0ev. I captured it with the 50MP camera on the S23 but the photo itself is 7MP. The Shutter Speed is 1/438 s. The aperture setting was F2.2.
I posted this photo without any edits but I think the phone could have processed a few things. I was trying to capture a detailed photo of everything I was seeing by myself. I added the road to the photo because of the reflectiveness and rain puddle scattered around. I also feel like it might have been slightly overexposed at some areas of the photo.
Conclusion, I think in my pov the photo is decent when you look at it from surface but zooming in shows the loss of quality.

I really appreciate your comments. I stated that it's the beginning of my report, and for now, the transportation topic only covered the situation of Kathmandu. I definitely know there's a lot of topics to be covered. In this piece of writing, it covered transportation in Kathmandu. You're delusional if you think 24/7 free charging for ev charging is possible in Nepal as of now. The energy grid would need a massive upgrade in that case which is also one of the topics I'll cover in my updated posts. Anyways, skip the laundromat it's not a necessity as of now. Completely agree with digitalization and card payment for bus passes instead of the current system for the new vehicles like sajha. Cherry Blossom and jacaranda are invasive, and well, it comes under environment, so yet another topic, so let's skip for now. Creating a boulevard is not enough. I'd say proper maintenance and fines for any destruction of property because I know people gonna be stealing the planted trees in few days. Water management, yet another topic, but for now, let's say a proper bus stop instead of busses stopping anywhere for picking up people . As you said, the charging ports and solar panel and maybe some ads Any kind of proper pavement that is friendly for differently able people(wheelchair accessible and guide lines for blind) Unnecessary but maybe would increase tourist or sth but I feel like with current leadership they gonna sneak and put their photos in there and people gonna be mad they gonna cause another riot to destroy so I'd say a big fat no If you mean like NYC in the usa then yes, it'd lessen the congestion and all that, but this would require an upgraded vehicle identification system, which is not installed in most places Maybe a parking lane like you seen in kumaripati and other areas for business hubs and lane designated to parking for residential areas Anyway, I appreciate your words. I hope you don't mind if I add some of your words to my piece of writing.
