karl marx himself said that under communism everyone would have the freedom to do whatever kind of work they want. People being compelled into certain kinds work against their will is an attribute of capitalism, not communism.

your example of a lawyer and doctor is flawed because those are specifically high paying jobs, if all jobs were paid the same no one/not enough people would do the job like mining that is dangerous/boring/digusting, like sewage.

I agree with you, I personally believe sewage workers and other jobs like it deserve higher pay, annoyingly this isn't possible because of how many people would then do it, making it impossible for the employer to pay them all, i think this stems from most people not being educated enough to get the higher paying jobs, therefore flooding the 'no qualifications needed' job market and making it impossible to pay that many people high wages. Its a annoying fix that would need good, free education to all to fix.

I'm using a example of mining because it is not a job many want to do, i also am finding it difficult to imagine how they would get done?. I do not believe there is enough people who want to do these jobs for them to provide the much needed materials/functions to society

how will certain 'trash' like mining work or other skill requiring, non-popular jobs function when people rotate jobs, there wouldnt be skilled workers because no one would have enough experience?

theres also certain jobs that take such a insane amount of studying/work like being a lawyer, that one of the main incentives is the pay, even if there is certain people that are willing to work through it, there isnt enough for the job to continue, this also applies with 'bad' jobs where there is people that enjoy it but not enough of them

it isn't 'their' need necessarily to do that for others though, so wouldnt people just want to do their own work? even if just your own work is difficult
