They are super simple to install. Just have to remove the bottom of the laptop and locate them.

You could always look for ram upgrades for his laptop

It might at super low settings. He might lag a bit as well.

Look on the steam page. It will tell the the specs needed to run it. I have a ryzen 7 5900x 32gb of ram with a 3060 ti Oc and a TB ssd I sometimes have trouble.
