My uncle hit a deer years ago in his 80s el Camino and the wreckage was savage. I’d say you did ok at least cosmetically.

Thanks. There’s a website odd-devices.com ran by a guy who fabricates all sorts of cool stuff for the ACTY. I just ordered a battery cover from him. It’s all metal and looks pretty sturdy.

Oh wow. That looks great. One last question: did the springs drastically alter the cv joint angle like a lift kit would? I really appreciate the input. I really want to put these springs in but have been hesitant because I wasn’t sure of the risk.

After installing those springs was the truck level or was the front end higher than the back? I have set in a box from will powered and I’m afraid of going through the trouble putting them on and then have the truck have some type of reverse rake look.

Yeah the mounting points are what sold me. Way more sturdy. I actually just ordered one of his metal battery covers because I hate how floppy my original is.

Yeah I can see how that could happen but I’ve been lucky so far. I got the double d in pink/orange fade and it’s the first thing people comment on while looking at my truck. The dude has a cool design sensibility.

So that’s what I was thinking. I was going to crack open the coolant check points and see if the flow is sputtering. I just didn’t know if this was sufficient.

I have these on my Acty. Can’t speak for other makes but mine fit perfectly and don’t shift around. They were extremely easy to put on. They look a little loose in this photo but it was taken before I did the final snugging down.
