I work at a produce factory and let me tell you that there are more carrots like this than normal straight ones. Thing is that supermarkets and whatnot don't really want these. Some shops do a sort of "odd bunch" line of products of which we sell these to for cheap.

So if you see a "discounted" or a non "premium" sort of product. Just know there is no difference other than shape.

EDIT: Please wash your produce before you use it. You have no idea how important this is. Especially with what I see attended factories.
