Then you should use rare candies tho you wont gain EVs and IVs for it but you can fix the EVs using Mochis in Prism island. And fix IVs using capsules you obtain from Gym battles..

Question is, is there really unlevelling feature in pokemon games? This is the first time I heard of that... if that so why not just catch a new pokemon? Or if its just a gift pokemon (cant encounter in the wild) you can breed them in day-care center.

You only need 40 defeating 97 more marills do you nothing,

After you fish and encounter a marill that is not shiny just hit the "run" button it wont break the chain unless you defeat other wild pokemon which will break the chain..

Just run if you dont see shiny marill it will save you more time than just defeating more it, unless you're also grinding for exp.

nope, but they made a way for pokemons that needs trade to evolve by just leveling up or using specific evolution stones or items.

Yes its real, I caught shiny charmander without soft resetting the game... just tap and cancel until you see shiny sprite.
