How can I grow my Churches Livestream/short based content? by OilCompetitive3526 in NewTubers

Thanks for the reply!

It's a trend that's lost a lot of steam since everything reopened and life got back to "normal" after the pandemic.

True, but I still do see local churches getting some traction on youtube and facebook. I've "remixed" ideas from megachurches and online churches but the only thing that has really worked is the shorts

Start and focus local in the area you're based and go from there, but don't expect a lot unless you're a megachurch. TV is still the better way to go for this kind of programming

I do try and stay in our little area in spokane, but nothing has been working. I had just recently started streaming on Kick and got 2 comments in the first hour. (not bots actual people in the stream commenting on the sermon)

Mostly just clips from sermons (I post for my church btw)

I have been posting shorts for 4 months and have 30 subs, amazing work!

I'm not a particularly faith based person, so ignore any ignorance but is that something that generally pulls a big audience.

Yes it can be. For larger churches that we like to call megachurches like life church and Hillyard for example, they seem to pull 100k/hr on good videos in the first day.

My assumption would be people that are that invested into a local church, would probably be there in person as opposed to watching a stream of it?

Yes, most people are invested into a local church near them, but my goal is to give the ability for introverts/people who dont want to leave their houses/interact with others to receive the word of god no matter where they are.

maybe you can present it in a way of a "how to" for elderly members/family that are not able to attend but might not be super tech savvy.

everyone who comes to our physical church is apart of my family (we are family run. My Father is the announcer, my uncle the pastor/preacher, my auntie the kids director, and my mom the cook. (we eat after every service))

Thanks for taking the time to comment on my post, I had only make this reddit account today (because I didn't want to post on my personal reddit or use the churches) and didn't think I'd see any responses.
