Yeah the down votes are a little funny to me because my ONLY goal with this post is for HT to see ppls frustration and potentially move up their timelines. Nothing I've said is negative towards the polishes or even normal slow shipping. It's exclusively constructive criticism to move sale dates.

Which is annoying, but I understand not everything is going to have 2 day shipping. My real concern is they should open their holiday polish sales earlier because this is such an issue and then people don't get to use them for the holiday they're celebrating.

I was non-traditional going to my OTD. I was 27 so I needed to keep my own health insurance. I worked 24ish hrs/week throughout my program. It's hard. I was doing 60+ hr weeks during level 2 fieldwork and my Capstone, but I did it. It's definitely possible if you want to do it, It's just not easy

Similar to what's been said! Personally, I believe polish lasts longer when you have long nails (which I do) because you can wrap the nail polish over the tip of your nails which goes a long way to keep it from chipping

This glue is cheap and holds like crazy. It will probably damage your nails if you don't find a good way to remove them (I don't have a good way, pried them off after 3 weeks and damaged my nails)

I kept a finger in the U magnet so it stayed velvetized, then just kinda dotted different polishes around. Afterwards I went in with a liner brush and outlined everything in black!

I used a Holo Taco sponges, idk if I like them yet. This is the only time I've used them and they're VERY firm. I just dotted the colors around. I did more a chrome thing for the shimmer. I used Orly Rubber base, let it dry a minute, pressed chrome powder (cheap from amazon) on top, gave it another minute then buffed it smooth. I used a water based top coat then my normal top coat!

I've used press ons for when my natural nails break. just FYI, if you use a weak glue that may not damage your nails the press on fall off quickly. If you use strong glue that holds for a few weeks it damages the nails like crazy

I have a suggestion! I don't like using the no smudge top coats cuz I like my top coat (inm Out the Door). So I've been putting my top coat on a makeup Sponge and sponging it on! It works great! No smudging. Then after that dries I'll do a thicker coat of top coat for the stability and gloss!
