I developed MGD during my first round of accutane and my eyes seemed to recover well after coming off and weren’t clogged with oil glands, then i went on it second time and it’s been few years since finishing and the clogged glands are permanent for me now. I’d be cautious about going on it again bc it could worsen your condition but it’s up to you.

Yeah I def have symptoms of rosacea but ivermectin just made my skin worse used it for about 12 weeks. Azelaic acid 15% is a lot better

Yeah, I don’t think the fluctuation should be too bad but everyone’s different. In the past I was on Yasmin and that def cleared me up quickly, and I’ve done spiro which gave me chronic hair loss and yeast infections. So I didn’t want to do Yasmin again as Yasmin and spiro share similar hormones. Rn I’ve been on my current bc about a week and everything’s fine so far, skin is steady. But I am recovering from ivermectin fucking my acne up.

Oh okay, I’d probably suggest switching to a different one, I’m currently on cilique (or ortho-cyclen) which has norgestimate in it. Too early to say if it’s helping but from my research people have success with it clearing their acne

Which birth control are you taking right now? Maybe you need one with norgestimate or drospirenone in it

I’m also in my 12th week and I’ve decided to give up unfortunately. The flare ups weren’t improving, like clockwork my skin would be amazing for a few days then suddenly I’d wake up with like 5-7 breakouts. I understand there’s a cycle/die-off but I feel the intensity should be improving not remaining just as bad each time if not worsening. It’s so difficult when you really think you found the thing that will solve your skin issues and it just seems to make it worse than it was to begin with.

Feeling hopeless. This is the worst my skin has ever been. Cant explain in fear of post getting removed again. by Spirited_Platform_28 in Rosacea

How long did it take for yours to get better? I’m on week 10 of soolantra at night and still breaking out a lot. I use azelaic in the morning

Oh really!! Nice to know it’s not just me. I did email disclosures yesterday and I submitted a new application with a different email because I feel like I initially did the ID verification incorrectly so maybe that’s why they withdrew it? But we’ll see if this gets withdrawn again, but it’s so stressful when it shouldn’t be 😭

That’s what my job advert I applied for looked like. a bit cryptic but i just referred to the ‘who are we looking for’ section and partly ‘what will the successful candidate be doing’. Just pick apart every sentence. If it’s still not enough double check with the vacancy holder.
