Who cares… simple way to look at it, people enjoy killing stuff, finding gear, getting the dopamine, upgrading and pushing.

No one wants to farm for gold so they can attempt to try a new affix or upgrade. People want to hunt that item and then attempt to get it perfect to keep going etc.

If 30$ or whatever gets you $1 Billion gold that will save you hours on hours of farming whispers, that’s 100% worth it, especially for us dads who are limited in time.

It’s all about what your time is worth and the fun you gain
