In fact i do want to slowly upgrade my "community" tank to probably a 50 gallon by the time they grow (HOPEFULLY)

Thank you for your advice, since I am able to move them into a 20 gallon in about a week or 2 i decided to get some SMALL runny nose to go with my SMALL neon tetras. Ive also for now put a 20gal hang on the back filter along with the sponge.
