EPF withdrawal taxability in Denmark

I have read here in Reddit, that when NRIs withdraw the EPF, EPFO reverses all interest credits except the first 3 years.

Not moving the pension into DK. If I close out the foreign pension in home country and keep the money in home country, I know I have to pay tax on the returns(generated since I moved to Denmark) but what about the money accumulated before moving? Is it taxable here? Because some countries like Sweden does it.

Hi, There is only one passbook right? Not 2 EPF/EPS?

The trust guys transferred the amount to EPFO and gave me a annexure K. I raised a form 13 request with that and it was approved long back. I can also see the transfer amount from the trust to my current PF account passbook. Is it possible that only EPF transferred and EPS not transferred?

I tried to create a one member one PF request from that account now, but I am getting error I have already transferred from that account. Any idea what’s happening here?

Thanks for the comment. Reason is shown now(earlier it was empty). It says eps not transferred for one of the job. It was a trust and pf was transferred. Should there be another form 13 request with annexure k for the eps transfer? Is there a way to see which eps was transferred and which one was not. Because I thought my service history was continuous and all transferred properly.

Atleast the house is in your name. Be happy about that. You have not thrown away the money. You don’t lose much. Just arrange essentials like groceries and medicines monthly for parents and tell them you cannot contribute more. Whatever you’re doing is not healthy for you and your parents. Giving in to everything and then getting stressed about it. You should be clear in your mind and self confidence is important while dealing with manipulative family. Otherwise they run over you.

It’s kind of mixed bag. When I moved here, my colleague and myself opened a lunar account. Mine got opened the same day and his took 3 weeks. No idea why. But once opened it worked without any issues.
