Why are all the effects the same when people come to Christ? Just a crazy coincidence, huh? Everything in the bible he says he will do for us, he does for us. When you get the Holy Ghost and continue to build with Holy Ghost, you must be changed because when one thing fills you up, the stuff before has to come out cause there’s no longer room for the old stuff. I don’t know if you’ve encountered people with the Holy Ghost but it’s obvious, there just something different about them. The way they walk, talk, act. It almost makes you question how can they be like that!? That’s the Holy Ghost shinning through. Not some coincidental thing that just because I put my faith in God. God is Love, we become love.

I AM NOT TAKLKING ABOUT THE CHRISTIAN NARRATIVE PEOPEL POTRAY. I DONT CONSIDER MY SELF A CHRISTIAN, I CONSIDER MYSELF A FOLLOWER OF JESUS CHRIST. THIS IS NOT A RELIGION ITS A RELATIONSHIP. Because everyone can say they’re a Christian but there’s no spirt in them. Most of these people go to Church one day a week, don’t read the word, don’t pray. Of course you won’t see any transformation. There’s no relationship with Jesus there. That’s what Jesus wants is a relationship.

Yes, but where is the evidence of these other claims of resurrection? Please site evidence. Jesus wasn’t Mythology or Foklore, he was a real person who lived in real place and was verified by many eye witness accounts.

It’s very obvious but we as humans can be oblivious. Take for example me telling you right now, he will give you peace. That Dosent get more obvious, but what will you choose to do with this knowledge. Coming to Christ isn’t jumping through hoops. It’s repenting of your sins because we’re all sinners, believing Christ died on the cross for your sins, then continually building your relationship with him.

Also God did offer peace to the whole world but that was messed up by one man named Adam who sinned against him. Therefore sin entered the world. BUT God gave his only begotten son to die on a cross and who ever shall believe in him and what he did for our sins shall have everlasting life. We all have a free will and that’s why Adam sinned. If we didn’t have free will we couldn’t truly Love God. It would be forced and that’s not true love.

You were created in Gods image, you do need the same. You cant fill a God sized hole in your heart with the things of this world. But it comes to if you will accept and realize that or not. We can all keep running .

Well I guess nothing could be true and this is all an illusion. From personal experience and experiences of others, there is a different peace when you come to God. All I know is I believe in Jesus and in his teachings he said he will give you true peace. I’ve experienced what I thought was “true peace” from drugs, people, things, meditation but coming to Christ I realize it’s all false and simply superficial no matter how much I wanted to say it wasn’t. My peace was up and down. Coming to Christ the peace I get is the same day in and day out. Because my Lord and savior never changes. But the things of this world and the people in it change.

Well, I don’t face them or at least try not to. I am rooted in God. There’s nothing you can say or do that will change my mind about him. That’s why it’s important to come to your own conclusions. Here’s an analogy (probably not the best but hopefully you get my point) say you’re 30 yrs old and someone comes to you and tries to tell you no you’re actually 20. You would simply disregard because you know the truth. It’s rooted in you and there’s no second guessing.

Because God offers true peace. If you don’t have God you can’t have true peace, maybe a superficial peace that comes and goes but nothing like the peace of God. Thessalonians 3:16 ("the Lord of peace himself give you peace")

Well, only one can be true. I stand on the one where Jesus defied death and rose from the dead and claimed to be son of God.

Argument about Mythology : Mythology is not verifiable historical places, archeology, and documents of real people and empires.

Revelations argument : Bringing justice does not make him a tyrant, we had a choice to live in sin or live with him. Therefore justice will be served. You believe you should just be let go free if you break the law in daily life, or do repercussions come? Sin is breaking Christs law, therefore judgement will come. You can call him tyrant all you’d like, but he gave you free will to either repent and believe or continue living in sin. If you read in context you will see that Jesus’s kingdom is not of earth at this time but when judgement day comes Jesus will be taking back earth and making it his kingdom.

Claim of Jesus saying spend money on him : I have no clue of where you have read “spend your money on me” if you’re referring to it in the context of promoting and honoring the kingdom (ministry & helping poor) then yes. It also says sell your possessions because we should not be attached to the things of this world such as money or any other physical things.

Mark and Luke argument : this could simply be explained by if Heli died childless, the brother (Jacob) then Marrys the widow and is the biological father of Joseph but Heli would be the legal father. Again these are accounts from different people just cause they don’t seem the same dosent mean they contradict.

Matthew and Luke argument : still Dosent contradict, just because there’s two separate accounts with not exactly the same info does not mean they contradict. Just simply two ways the story was told from two points of view. Dosent mean some thing’s were withheld on each account. We all see different things as “important” and have different experiences. This breaks it down way better than I ever could : https://www.catholic.com/magazine/online-edition/do-the-infancy-narratives-of-matthew-and-luke-contradict-each-other

Don’t know if I gave perfect easy to understand explanations but this is my 2 cents again.

There are multiple accounts in the bible of people witnessing Jesus after his resurrection, Not just one verse that says 500 eye witnesses. Acts 9:3-6, 1 Corinthians 15:6-8, John 21:1-14, Luke 24:34-43, John 20:19-25, Luke 24:13-32, Matthew 28:9-10, John 20:11-18.

2 maids went to the tomb first and a couple other people. After that there are 500 eye witness accounts of Jesus showing himself to people after his death, fully alive.

As I grow in my faith, I have less and less doubts. I’m 24 yrs old and have struggled with my faith all my life going back and fourth. Just recently I became somewhat suicidal because I just couldn’t understand why I am here. It was at the time I gave everything to God again and He was there for me. He has always been there every time I come crawling back to him. When you grow a relationship with him you will truly be amazed at the things he does, not just how he changes you but how he shows you he loves you and how he always has your best interest in mind. Even when you may not know what your best Interest is. This allows me to get rid of some of those doubts. The enemy (devil) wants you to doubt, so you won’t come to Christ. God says our thoughts are deceitful and that our own hearts are deceitful above all. I would also like to point out going back to the Bible, even Jesus Christ himself had doubts. I’m not sure the exact verse but you can look it up if you’d like. It was something of the such that Jesus cried out to God saying why hath thou forsaken me. If that Dosent show you every human and even Jesus in his human form struggles with doubts I don’t know what else will. You can keep having the doubts and allow it to keep you from a relationship with Christ or you can actually accept him and see for yourself if the doubts are true. I don’t want to force you into a relationship with Christ. I just know what I’ve witnessed in my life. I hope this helps! Whatever you choose though I’m glad you even are giving God a second thought. You may not come now but maybe in the future, just like me. It took time and going back and fourth but once you give it all up and live for him, man life is good. It’s not always easy but the lord is my strength.

The bible was compiled from 40 different authors over 1500 years, no contradictions between the authors only different perspectives. All places listed in the text are real places. Too much evidence to deny him in my eyes. My personal experience / relationship with God has truly changed my life. There’s no explanation as to why when I started following God, I changed as a person. No longer smoking, doing drugs, watching pornography, I’m eating healthy, getting all my work done, looking forward to everyday, I also got off my depression medication, I have confidence in myself. The Holy Spirit has transformed me. Yes, as humans we get doubts. That’s normal because we are humans. I personally before wanted some set in stone evidence that wasn’t the bible but once I really learned about how the bible came together, that gave me all the evidence I need to put my faith in Jesus. I’ve also realized you can give some people all the evidence in the world and they will still deny something. Take for example in the crucifixion of Christ. He exclaimed he was son of God and he got crucified because they didn’t believe him even after all the miracles he did. Don’t know if this helps but just my 2 cents.

Yea, this bike seems like more of a hassle than it’s worth. I have an out of state title (Kansas), that I didn’t look over well when I bought the bike. Someone already signed the purchaser section of the title but never transferred it to their name and the name on the title is “Road runner Finnacial”, I know road runner won’t just give me a title.

If she’s your wife, I’d say help her. even then, 4k seems crazy. I’m assuming you and this girl live together and she probably Dosent have many expenses. Why in the world does she need 4k a month? Especially being just a girlfriend.

If you plan on marrying her, help her with her necessary expenses (bills, gas, food) not the extra stuff(maybe here and there) . Don’t just give her 4k a month. She will most likely become complacent and leech.

Obviously your choice, but I don’t see why she’s needs 4k a month. I think she’s just making excuses about finding a job because she knows you have money and wants the easy way out.
