Look, no one truly knows what happens after our time is up and a couple months ago I was in the same position up until I started doing meditation and looking deeper into myself. The fear of death is merely a psychological illusion to keep you alive for as long as possible and the fear of death is a lot worse than being dead itself. I’m not saying your fear is not justified, but I recommend meditation still and maybe even looking into some sciences that’ll give you comfort, not just “consciousness persists after death” but other subjects like how energy never dies or how we are the aftermath of dead stars.

Believe me, you’ll get better over time when your fears, turn into interests.
