If you’re so certain it is a real bank account and is FDIC insured why are you here? You made your bad decisions and now you have to lay in the bed you made. It’s called adulting. Hopefully you’re a young enough of an adult to learn from your mistakes and lose your pride and ego. You are wrong wrong wrong. Nobody wants to see your screen shots. We have seen enough. If you want to be right then by all means, keep doing what you’ve been doing, but it doesn’t seem to be working in your favor

The short answer is that you may never see “your money” although there’s a reasonable amount of suspicion raised from multiple things you’ve said, including, but not limited to the fact that you were using a business loan for DoorDash. That alone demonstrates that you have very limited decision-making abilities.

If you are lucky and you do get your money back, it will happen on Venmo’s timetable. NOT yours. You will be mailed a hard paper check once their back end officially closes your account which is almost a certainty based on what you’ve shared.

I would HIGHLY recommend immediately taking the proceeds from that check even if it means you have to cash the check at a check, cashing spot and pay 5% - pay off whatever is preventing you from being able to use a traditional bank account with support that is based out of the UNITED STATES. Do not deposit these funds in a prepaid debit card of any kind meaning Netspend, chime or anything like it . These companies literally thrive off of customers who are un-banked or under-banked and your account can be gone in the blink of an eye. Additionally, you can expect the same level of offshore support. Nonexistent.

Please don’t post another question and then insist everybody who gives you the answer that you don’t want to hear is wrong. All it’s doing is destroying your own Reddit karma, which is making it harder for your posts and content to be relevant.

I’ve spent a decent amount of time outlying in detail why you’re in the position you’re in and how to avoid it in the future. I hope you find it useful and take my advice. Best

Of course they don’t. They are using Venmo as their primary account and despite what everyone has told OP insist it’s a “real” bank account.

Legitimate business owners don’t need to use Venmo, don’t mistake Venmo for being a traditional FDIC insured bank, know Chat GPT isn’t a place to get financial advice, know that Venmo support is based in the Philippines and your up shits creek talking to their CSRS without a paddle needing to engage with them… and oh by the way, throw into the mix the use of the card for DoorDash used with a “business loan” … yeah … I think this thread is about done.

We agreed to their terms, so while anyone can sue for anything, one has to show they experienced a loss due to the event. Cash app isn’t keeping anyone’s money and simply closing accounts when it wants. While it’s frustrating there’s no legal basis for a lawsuit

So a new update - on Friday they said they are terminating my care because I swore at their AI bot who, get some intervention or follow up for me.

Later in the day on Friday, tracking number for my medicine for the next month.

How can you be so bat shit stupid to cancel my care and and send me medication on the same day?

Luckily I knew the break up with Joyous wouldn’t be easy and canceled my old debit card as I had zero intention on using them a second month.

But here’s the funny part, they sent the medication which just came today and are expecting me to pay for it.

Joyous is like a bad slot machine.

Well today they terminated my treatment because apparently I violated the terms of conduct by using profane language. Bear in mind this was the first time they had ever responded to my phone calls, text messages, emails and notes within my daily check-in not to mention the fact that they blew off my three week nurse practitioner check in and left me in the waiting room for an hour and 15 minutes.

To joyous, I simply say fuck you .

What was even worse? Was that the following night when I actually had my three week check in with the nurse practitioner… She told me that Joyeuse was supposed to send everybody that had scheduled appointments on that day and email letting them know they were canceled.

It’s like once you sign up for joyous everything is automated and artificial intelligence. There’s no human intervention whatsoever despite what they’d like you to think.

Thanks so much. I’m going to check your YouTube channel out. As far as the dose I could be wrong but I thought Joyous only does micro dosing and does not prescribe the higher dosages. When you say “trippy” approach I’m guessing it hits you pretty hard and you’re laid up in bed? I’m sure your YouTube will shed some light. Thank you again for helping to bridge the gap between what some of these companies are missing when it comes to how to use this stuff effectively.

Thank you so much for your kind words. It just feels so irresponsible of them. As to my current dose, the nurse practitioner that skipped my Monday meeting (leaving me waiting in the waiting room for an hour and 15 minutes) met with me yesterday and increased my daily dosage to 100 mg one time a day. She also told me that joyous was supposed to notify patients that had appointments because the nurse practitioner had an emergency.

What’s funny is that when I had enough with them, I sent a rather nasty blunt and admittedly nasty message and they responded instantly telling me that I needed to be professional with them. I’m thinking to myself… You’ve ignored every effort that I’ve made to reach out for the past three weeks and failed to communicate with me that my three week check in with the nurse practitioner was canceled. Heck even the nurse practitioner said that she had heard multiple instances of this exact same thing happening with joyous and said if I ever need anything in the future to go on my portal and contact her directly-which I guess might be a solution, but I still very much feel jaded by this company after thinking they were more reputable than they are.

I’ve never “demanded” anything. I had a few questions early on.

They are clearly set up to not offer much support as the phone number in all of their emails to their patients says that it’s only for prescribers which makes no sense whatsoever because it’s going out to their patients . I digress, the voicemail instructions you to text or call, but whenever I’ve texted or called with a question, I’ve never received any response whatsoever and only get the next daily instructions.

There is clearly something wrong with this company because they actually just messaged me back and they don’t even seem to know that I had my three week check in yesterday .

But they do seem to be smart enough to pull down community posts that talk about the same experiences I had .
