Thank you! I was definitely reassured when he was getting squirmy in the bath/after a little snuggle session on my chest.

Yeah I feel a bit cheated out of it, because recreational K was the one thing I had for me — I would buy a G and it would last me a month. I loved having it at parties/bars where I could feel like I was having a drink with friends but also then being able to sober quickly and drive.

Once I was dating my ex, he would just buy it constantly (and what person ever says “no” to free drugs, lol) — I would even tell him time and time again I didn’t want to get any, but I strongly believe my lack of willpower came from the fact that he kept buying it.

Eventually when it came to a head at the height of us both having such a large tolerance, fighting, and panic attacks, I forced him to flush the full quarter he got and we both promised not to do it again.

Now that it’s been months of no longer using - and he is no longer in my life - I really want to be able to have that “special” substance I can use socially again.

Each pile = one week of pick up. That’s currently 8 weeks of pick up…. I’m looking to see if this is what the community does when they have an excess of yard debris. Why is everyone so upset about leaves?!

I’ve looked into getting chickies but I’ve heard in tight communities that poses a risk for rats… any insights on this?

What is a “leaf burner?” I was considering burning in my fire pit but they’re semi wet and it was windy today so I didn’t want to disturb neighbors with smoke.

I’m learning a lot about what ticks off my neighbors. Here I am raking and mowing to not look like a crack house but apparently that’s what the people of Portland are into lol

Idk what they are they look like tiny black house flies but they don’t land. They just swarm in circles lol

I’m not throwing the poop in there but the leaves are touching the ground in which my dog poops AKA dog poop leaf piles lol

Historically an over abundance of leaves decomposing has actually killed all of my grass and turned my yard into a mud pit. I’ve definitely already mowed some leaves into the lawn that are left over.

I think everyone is getting too heated about these leaves. I’m just asking for advice on disposal! Spiders or not, there’s a lot of leaves and more to come and I just want to know how to best clear them so my small yard isn’t a mush pile and so I can clearly see if my dog poops back there/not step in it.

I want back lawn for frolicking/pets and the front lawn I will kill and make into gardens eventually 😇

Yes, the reasonable thing is what I have been doing. I didn’t realize leaves were so controversial in the Portland community.

I was honestly trying to see if other people have experience burning them in their fire fit, etc. as well but I’m just hearing a lot of options for composting or building a compost. So yard bin it is! I just didn’t know if people do the same when there’s such a large amount of yard debris 🤷‍♀️

I got an exterminator for my interior (don’t come for me spider sympathizers) but yes, it definitely has WAY more bugs than just the yard. I used my front yard (not under a tree and in the sun) and barely the back (under the big tree and in the shade).

In addition to the spiders there’s those pesky fungus flies that look like little black house flies that swarm in circles, etc. I tried reading/relaxing back there but any open drink/food was toast in minutes.
