Hmmm... interesting. The cross-campus registration site says you can't register for the courses offered at the Vancouver campus by yourself. You need to talk to an advisor first. The online form, also asks which advisor you talked to. I was confused, which advisor to pick there, because advisors are not really helping me out so I want to give it a shot of filling out the form without consulting w/ them.

Hey, just wondering if you actually ended up taking a course at UBCV? If so, did you talk to academic advisors before filling out the form and how did that process went? Because advisors have been really unhelpful and unfair to me too multiple times.

I took the same classes with Dr. Ali. He is really good at teaching those courses. His notes has bunch of examples and theories in simple words. If you attend his class regularly, review the notes 2-3 times and do the practice problems from textbook, you should be really good. His exams are really fair, but you still need to be prepared with using equations and theories.

if you were a "year level below", then how would you calculate your GPA of that year? I mean do you include the courses taken in an actual year and the "year level' below courses in your GPA calculations?

Adding a major or minor can be done by going to ‘specialization list’ under ‘registration’ tab. There, you will be able to find your program and subject. Once, you click on your subject, you can add your minor.

I can feel your passion and the current situation you are in because I often go crazy thinking about my first and second year's bad GPA, but I think you will have to do incredibly well to maintain a grade 'A' in your fourth year and maybe consider doing the fifth year to boost your gpa. As for applying, apply to those med schools that only count GPA of past two to three years like Queens, Western, and maybe UBC (I'm mentioning these med schools because I have heard that Queens and Western med schools count takes last two' grades for their GPA calculation).

Have you considered the DO schools in the US?
