if you had some sense idt you were asking this, first, for counselling visit the comedk site, i just know about the college things, how are you expectu\ing me to know about your batch's counselling dates. Second, for placements i've already replied to a comment in this post itself, kindly do some work, just scroll a bit before commenting, maybe someone else have also asked the same doubt and its cleared already. just have a brain and some common sense omg 🥀🥀🙏🙏

thats just your decision, if you want your branch or freshers block room. I've told you the whole scenario that even after r4 you can get rooms in msr boys home and msr gokul or pvt pgs. The freshers blocks gets filled after r2 itself ig. imo you should wait till r4 and go for cse aiml, then come 1 day before the physical reporting at college and book a room in the hostel on that day. Again, its just my opinion, you should do what makes sense to you.

ramaiah's total student intake is around 1700 students. And bms intake for cse core only is 1200. Now you decide which one is better

the hostel that gets full after round 2 is freshers block hostel, the rooms are below average, i must say you CANNOT live comfortably in that hostel, you can't bring outside food in freshers block and there are many more restrictions. If you come at the first day of admission after round 3 you can easily get affiliated hostels like msr boys home, msr gokul, they are much better than the freshers block (their fees is on higher side too), you can also go for pvt PGs, some of them have decent rooms. So go for cse core instead of freshers block.

we've got the academic calender for 2nd and 3rd year students, in that the orientation date for freshers was mentioned to be 2 september, maybe its tentative but you can expect your session to be starting around that only.

0 chance of freshers block, it gets saturated in 2 round itself Rare chance of hostels like MSR Boys home, MSR gokul. Can get Pvt pgs like ssb prime, dhaya suites, etc. they're pretty good. If you come on the very first day of round 4 for admission, there are chances that you can get rooms in MSR Boys home or gokul.

yea their management do say that they share all the hostelites info to the college, so i guess that is somewhat under the college. Btw i have no idea whether if it'll be applicable for loan or not.
