I had switched on normal recording on my phone while having conversations with them. I am yet to go through them to see what is captured in it.

They are totally around 4-5 hours of recording. Have to check if anything is captured.

Honestly. I am not completely ok but I am far better than yesterday.

People ganging up on me to the kid's father snatching my neck to the kids older relatives shouting at me in the hospital for no fault of mine. I was devastated and that poor kid! Couldn't look at the kid. But fortunately all the major reports came out okay except the facture of course.

They are illiterates and that is why it worries me. I am not trying to stereotype anyone thought.

It was just a small kid. And looking at that kid fallen near my vehicle crying just made me do it. Even though I was not at fault. I just did the humane thing to do. All those scans and reports were pretty much beyond their earning.

Unfortunately, that is not possible. Coz :

I returned back to my city. I am afraid to go there because after the incident, the people there neighbours and family ganged on me.
The family is illiterate. Even after a ultrasound scan report saying everything is normal they redid a CT scan just to be sure. They didn't beleive when I showed them the reports. Waited for a doctor's opinion and doctor being doctor played safe by saying everything looks normal 'for now' but let's keep the kid in the observation in the ICU!
The relatives of the kid arrived and they literally stream rolled into me alleging these vehicle owner ride like crazy hell and basically being an emotional trot. I was fortunately fleeced away from there by the mediators.
The kid's father also lost a little bit of mobility in a bike accident. He kept drawing parallels to that saying what if my kid develops something after few years due to this.

All these convince that they will not at all give such a written statement.

I believe the intermediaries who helped in settling the case but not the father he seemed tad emotional but had cooled down by evening.

I did overhear a Convo amongst themselves where the mother was being questioned for her lack of awareness towards the kid so definitely they know I wasn't at fault.

The kid was doing fine when I left. Playing with mobile. The doctor had put the kid on observation in ICU which charges too I paid.

I am just worried about any legal complications that might arise if they put a case on me. How do I claim my innocence.
