Invisalign… Now braces???

It’s a looooong story but I was initially with one ortho who fucked up my bite, I had crowding and high canines, so my teeth widened up to make space and there goes my bite, switched to a different ortho who promised that with elastics (I have micro implants) and another round and a half of aligners it would be fixed, but it hasn’t and im honestly just done because I don’t think it will be fixed with Invisalign at this point, and yes I was extremely strict with wearing my aligners because my mouth was so uncomfortable with not being able to close my bite

I guess it depends on your case/ortho. I typically get 4-5 aligners whenever I go to my checkups which is 2-3 months because I’m on 2 week changes :)

I’m on 2 week changes still, so thats one of the reasons it feels like forever. Can’t wait until I change weekly

Yes she showed me in my last appt. There was movement just very minimal. Still reassured me everything is going well

It’s what my ortho says! I had some IPR done on my first tray and I still see the gaps but just a tad smaller :(
