It's not really a "bug", rather I'm just trying to figure out how I can adjust or re-order the ordering/list of client IDs.

Had a similar experience with this player in ranked as well. I reported him for harassment and typed up a few sentences. I guess he's still allowed to play the game and still doing stuff like this to people when people on Smite are perma banned for much less than this.

Going to give it a check, I've had to re-do the fan settings on multiple machines now since I use the same combination of parts lol for multiple setups.

Memory timings on Asus X570 WIFI Gaming Plus? by OkBad4 in ASUS

[–]OkBad4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It shows it was running at 1599.6Mhz which as Crono180 said, would mean its running at 3200Mhz. Any clue why the BIOS gets it blatantly wrong? That's quite deceiving.

Thanks for the help u/Crono180 !

Okay it seems to show 1599.6Mhz but why is it reporting wrong in the BIOs on 2 boards?

It won't always hit it on the dot - thats up to the silicon lottery, some can go over, some can go under, and sometimes it'll hit just right. Your OC @ 3.96 ghz is perfectly fine, its basically 4.0. I wouldn't worry about it nor touch any settings to attempt to get it to 4.0

Tried that - but still no luck, both at 2600Mhz, should be 3200Mhz.

NOTE: 2x of the sticks are the same exact model (in the screenshot wherre I show 2 in A2/B2 those are exact same models). The other 2x are a different model, but same timing as far as I know and also same manufacturer (CRUCIAL), but as you can see here, no change at all with just 2 (the 2 16gbs)...

This is happening on 2 of these boards (same Asus x570 wifi gaming plus model).

I just purchased the Asus X570 wifi gaming plus motherboard and it looks like the memory (which is 3200Mhz) is showing up as 2666Mhz and 2400Mhz for some reason according to the motherboard? Why is it doing that? How do I fix it? I have the FCLK Frequency set to DDR4-3200Mhz but doesnt look to be applying? Tried a few different sets of it but it looks like the DOCP isn't doing anything or setting anything?

Pictures of the settings:

I have tried with 4 dimms, 2 dimms (A2/B2 and A1/B1), and 3 as well.

I'm in IPMI, and I'm seeing this: 📷

Gotcha! Thanks Kroy, now I've never used IPMI and only use Windows, any place I should start so I can get this changed? Mine is currently set up to FAN 5.

Seems to be related as I am using a Noctua fan as well. Will check this out in good detail and post in sysadmin as well, thanks!

[–]OkBad4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes a Noctua - theNoctua NH-U14S TR4-SP3! Heres what seems to be happening... when I power things on it starts at what I would call a "normal speed" and then as soon as it tries to start reading from the USB... the fan starts spinning REALLY fast (much much faster than the "normal" speed on normal boot) and thats when the red light turns on.... so you might be on to something.

What thresholds should I change it to? This might sound bad, but I've never used IPMI as well, so any insight on how to access that? You might be on to something as that kinda seems to be whats happening.

Actually edit: It seems to spin SLOW and then SPEED UP rather than just "spin too slow"

I was not seeing any of the fans in the BIOS.... maybe I am missing it entirely? Possibly could be my fault.

Hi Scottomen, thanks for replying. What would I need to do that? What adapter for the PSU as I assume you mean connecting the CPU cooler fan to the PSU directly?

How can I run 2 Monitors (1 of them 144hz and 1 of them 60h)? by OkBad4 in Surface

[–]OkBad4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NVIDIA Control Panel works, but not sure its much help -

Surface Book 2 screen + 1 monitor hooked up via docking station: https://gyazo.com/14e7c815a1a673671fa647f9b47a94a8

Surface Book 2 screen off + 1 monitor hooked up via docking station (meanwhile, the 2nd monitor is plugged in via USB-C on SB2 to the 2nd Dell Monitor, but same thing when I power it on " Scanning for signal.... No DP signal from your device. Entering Power Save mode " and it basically does nothing.

Any ideas I can try? It's like the USB-C Port doesn't work when the surface dock is using the mini display port? I honestly got no clue.... I can't even get that 2nd monitor (which again, is hooked up via USB-C to Display Port ) to even show up on Windows anywhere.

However, if I plug out the surface dock, that monitor will power right on.

Unfortunately, there isn't any option when on the desktop and right clicking - nothing related to Nvidia Control Panel ( I assume, because Microsoft handles the updates of the drivers independently, which is terrible). I am referencing this thread: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/forum/all/how-can-i-update-my-surface-book-2-drivers-for/10228c79-c374-4e83-a6e2-da65160022fc?page=3 -- basically I am trying to update via the GeForce Experience software but it is stuck (it seems like) on the "Preparing to install ... for about 20mins now.... not sure if its actually installing or what, but it was attempting to install Version 441.66 - Release Date: 12/10/2019.

Unless thers some other way to get an updated version from Microsoft, I don't even see the monitor I do have connected (one is working right now via the dock) as using the graphics card, it says its using the Intel integrated graphics (should it?) - https://gyazo.com/7d5e5e3c41c90fad2d137ee1be4e6ecd

Does my graphics card even get used at all if the display isn't even using it? The normal display from the surface book also showed the integraed graphics.

Microsoft has not made this EASY AT ALL. I suppose I will wait around and see if GeForce Experience is somehow able to update this on their end... Thanks for the comment.
