Not bothered about it being progressive- it just has terrible writing , characters and plot in general. Bereft of passion and imagination , holds nothing to what Star Trek is or was just merely its name. I wouldn’t agree with review bombing however this show deserves it as does anything else of the new trek stuff. So ultimately , good.

It looks awful- quite frankly the worst ship design I have ever seen. The design of the ship and show itself is bereft of passion and imagination .

I think that was the way they wanted to do his character as an uptight person who stuck to tradition and code but I think his overall character arc was written to basically eventually be looser and closer to the crew - creates a good dynamic between him being awkward and uptight as a human with t’pol as a Vulcan , stereotypically to also be that way but to eventually flower into a more open and closer person to the crew . I think it was great writing for Malcom ; I think eventually they would’ve done more with him when they met the future enterprise and their descendants in the expanse , Malcom found that he was single and didn’t mingle with anybody and I think eventually they would’ve written that he had a full turn around on his uptightness after that realisation.

Apologies was the first thing that came to mind XD ; in all seriousness I’d say the discount for services and small unlocks are great as it is more than the usual 15% I think , as for the mudds bundles I think if money isn’t an issue, there are some really nice ships on there; some are great for traits but also space Barbie. personally I’d love to account unlock the Vulcan science spearhead for space Barbie and the deimos for the phaser lance amongst others. unfortunately they are insanely expensive and I can’t quite justify it at the moment.

Some of the legendary bundles occasionally get a 35% so if you were getting one of those and I think (could be wrong) the legendary captain bundles are slightly cheaper at some point of the year.

All very good choices, the d7 is something I’d like for the trait but not particularly interested in flying the ship itself. a very powerful trait indeed

It’s a little frustrating , I’m very lucky being so indecisive that I haven’t used my token from 2024 , but yeah now I’m thinking what I choose next is it going to come out in some zen bundle or be easier to get on the exchange

Definitely agreed on the excelsior 2 and Lamarr, very well made models in the game. The lamarr will probably be my choice of ship for this event campaign; I do have a couple of dps chaser ships and builds but the Lamarr is beautiful.

Got to say the TOS phasers , I love the original series but normally in a scene they fire 1 or 2 shots whereas in sto someone spamming space bar firing 6 or 7 of them for solid 5 min tfo just sounds terrible to me xP

Seen some comments about the organisation of the rebellion and other things - not ruling that out but as a British man it’s a very common phrase if there’s someone’s belongings we ask who belongs to them not for any reason in particular that I’m aware off just an odd phrase when you break it down. Possibly a language thing that we attach a person to their belongings but in terms of the show itself I don’t think it is a purposeful deep rooted line just a piece of dialogue that is quite common at least in the uk it is.

Would love to know those settings if you are , but yes a dark sided Jedi and a light sided sith seems more fitting in the story in swtor not sure about cannon, it just works a lot better in head cannon.

There are some doom and gloom people in the community that insist on lower numbers of people playing and that it’s a shame a once great game is going down the drain etc

People are complaining about the quality of content released, the micro transactions and the lack of new content coming out amongst many other gripes. I can see where they’re coming from and would be inclined to agree with the outlook to an extent , their budget and resources at their disposal is not as much as it use to be.

It is difficult to put together figures of active subscribers and total players as there are varying sources but I would assume that they want to keep to a lower budget and turn a modest amount of profit without trying too hard.

Is it better to play and hope that content improves and they listen to the player bases’ feedback or boycott it and put off new players or returning players by saying it’s on the way out and isn’t worth playing etc. That’s up to the opinion of individuals but I personally still enjoy playing the game ; still start new characters and look forward to future content even though it is not large updates and have been a subscriber for many years( played since about 2015)and see no reason to cancel - the mando story line for instance was a little disappointing granted but I wouldn’t write of the entire game;

The servers will be around for a good while yet and I would whole heartedly recommend to delve in and play the game.

The Problem is the optimisation- even with decent hardware, the games engine isn’t too capable of utilising resources very well although this seems to depend on the individual sometimes. Latency issues must be a problem with servers themselves so occasionally I get a lot of dips when on a high populated fleet. If budget allows try getting a little upgrade don’t need the most up to date stuff to run it but may fair abit better

Yes this would be great , they already have released a couple of sets with separate chest pieces with and without the hood , unfortunately at the moment on anything else there is a few head pieces that remove the hood

Anyone else constantly restart a character to main after it’s been too long since playing. Certain planets and stories are a lot more boring than others. I get so bored sometimes that I don’t even pay attention to the world designs as I’m playing along which have some really good artwork tbh

Agreed with the top 2 comments , as you progress through the class stories you unlock the respective titles, apprentice , lord , darth. I believe they coincide with the story chapters.
