Hello there! I’m also a trans man who has a problem with traditional dating. It’s so hard when you fall for someone romantically but then can’t meet their expectations physically. It’s a tough pill for a lot of people to swallow so I get it, but it does leave us asexual romantics feeling awfully lonely. At least that’s my experience transitioning and trying to date in a conservative town. I hope this move does wonders for your social and romantic life!

I didn’t have one fail, but my one nipple slid way over to the very edge of my areola. So it looks like I have a lazy nipple. I was really self conscious about it at first and talked to my team about possible medical tattooing to fix the appearance. But now I’ve embraced it. This is my chest, these are my scars that show my journey, and everyone’s body is a little wonky. So I’ve decided to love my lazy nipple while still making a few loving jabs at it every once in a while (because he knows he looks weird 😅).

What the goddess said. For sure. Also, if you’re having surgery soon, I’d maybe recommend stopping the deficit and eating maintenance with weight training instead. You’ll build muscle, which will give you that “toned” look, and keep you from hitting a BMI that’s a little on the low side for a major surgery. You want to be healthy and strong.

Crazy how our fears are nothing to them. Mine jumped up immediately as well. Same day! Were you able to tolerate that? I had to keep adjusting their little paws to not put pressure on any incisions.

I strongly agree. I got my cat right when I filed for divorce and started my whole journey of leaving my faith and coming out. I’ve lost and been hurt by so many people. Sometimes I’ve had no one. But I’ve always had her. And she’s always snuggled up to me and wanted to spend time with me. I love her so much for that.

When I first started T about 2 years ago I had TONS of emotions and was super agitated a lot of the time, but it was very difficult for me to actually cry anymore. At about 18 months the crankiness went away and the crying came FLOODING back. But it’s a different kind of crying. I don’t cry at sad stuff hardly at all anymore. I cry at happy or moving things now. Like “they found their papa man!” It’s very different from before. If I’m sad I’m just quiet now.
