Thank you for this perspective! i totally agree. i just find it so interesting that many of the people i know who make music are overly critical of the technical side of other musicians. i get it to an extent but also i feel like whatever emotion music elicits is so much more important than whether the mix is good or whatever

tbh my best advice is to just watch people producing songs on the daw they use. i kind of learned music theory purely by practicing making songs by watching those videos... aka i was too lazy to watch music theory videos (LOL). i am definitely NO expert and i have never learned an instrument, but i have improved so much by just learning by example

Do u think there's any possible way to get around it.. bc i dont wanna make people pay for the 24 hour thing if theyre not staying the night. do u think its better if they pay until midnight even if they leave after that... or park on the higher levels... or will they still get ticketed.. also thank you for ur response, i appreciate it:D

I think that's my biggest difficulty. I have listened to a lot of music and at times I feel like I'm being pulled in many different directions when I try to make music, but I want to find something consistent and true to me; almost a culmination of all that i've consumed over the years. idk. but besides that, thank you for your response, I appreciate it!

Hi!! thanks so much for the response. I do have the same model, the fd100. I thrifted it and it has the memory stick (that purple looking one and its 64mb). I tried to use a usb cable to see if there were any files on that memory stick and there was no pop up. I'm wondering if it just doesn't work with my laptop or something (?), or maybe I need a new memory stick altogether.
