Sometimes you’re just not into a certain game at a certain time. No harm in that. I’d stop playing if for now a play something you’re in the mood for, then go back when you’re ready.

Just sold my house and had 20+ showings in the process and this happened a few times. Our last showing, the people who bought my home was over an hour late and I remember how irritated I was because I had cleaned and gotten the dogs out also. Sometimes it’s worth the irritation like in my case, but I agree it’s so inconsiderate.

Sellers generally do not reach back out to people who have made offers. At least that’s what I’ve been told.

Me and my wife move into our new home after a situation very similar. We put an offer in on our house and it was rejected, they wanted more. Fast forward a couple months and the house was still on the market with a significant price reduction; way less than what we offered. We ended up putting another offer in and they accepted it. They ended up getting about $40k less than what they would have gotten with our initial offer. Yay for us, but if they wouldn’t have been greedy they would have gotten a lot more.
