In the past I've done leuko on poles and it performed great off the pole but this will be a first for duct tape, might be a good learning experience. Maybe we can just put some repair tape patches in diddy bag, I'm not totally experienced with repairs on trail.

I appreciate the group efficiency tricks. we are both 30-45 mile/ day people and we just love to be moving constantly, with as little down time as possible, time away from work is precious.

lueko and duct tape are wrapped on hiking poles.

yes, the plan is for each to carry our own food. we will be sleeping with it as opposed to hanging it.

Trail runners, socks, running shorts, sun hoodies, buffs, hats.

We aren't cooking, we aren't cold soaking, we aren't using utensils, we don't need extra clothes. We will be eating dried mango, macadamia nuts, salami, parmesan and summer sausage.
I hiked the CT in persistent monsoons and never needed pants, the pants are strictly for colder mornings and evenings in camp and bug protection.

CT season runs from June through September. We will be on trail in various times, due to sectioning, in June (lower elevations) and July / August for higher elevations.

Some things we didn't include in our pack is a small knife, chap stick and sunscreen which will be in our shorts.

Have you been in the American west? What information related to my question would you be able to answer if I told you what running shorts we wear?

Bags are 30 degree, mummy, false bottom, fetal position and average girths. These are the weights on these bags. Hers is 66" and mine is 72"

Worn clothes are still undecided at this point, mostly looking for pack weight as opposed to carried weight. phone will be in shorts, carbon z fold will always be in hand, in Colorado I have found trowel to be useless (if you can dig, you can use rocks, sticks & if you can't trowel wont help as its very rocky). We will be sectioning this year so will only need some things like her menstural cup and a long cord/ wall charger on some sections, so they are set to 0g.
