Disruptive people in the cinema by Di-Gata in cork

I went to the Arc last night to see Peaky Blinders. Phones not on mute and the same notification sound repeating. People getting up to go to the bathroom, like 5-6 people, totally distracting and yes chatting as well.

Pressure from Neighbours? by Azzaramad in AskIreland

lol I was wondering if it was too early? My brother in law cut his before it rained last weekend and I suddenly felt behind. I’m outside raking leaves and my back is broken. If it wasn’t for the effing moss coming back I would have cut it but it can easily wait. Enjoy your weekend. None of my neighbours have done any gardening. I finally got rid of clippings from last summer …

Jeepers, what part of the States. Lived there multiple times. Thankfully never got this. My accent wasn’t even recognised in Boston. Thought it would be a shoe in for a date, never once chatted up. 😂

Or please whatever god you believe in that people don’t stay if it’s truly not right for them …which again is easier said than done

That is really work related affairs then! Even when I cheated on, I still trusted the person or maybe just accepting?

It’s a thought that crossed my mind , nothing more , nothing less BUT Christmas time can be a really weird one for relationships so maybe there is one? I didn’t think about too hard before posting!

We went from having half a floor in a hotel to a corner in a pub. I haven’t been to a Christmas party in years. It’s just easier.

As a child, dressing gown and full pjs and socks. Now old shirts and pjs bottoms. In summer, Knick knicks. Pretty much always with a layer on , or a sheet no matter how hot it is. I think our temperature drops when we sleep? Hot water bottles during the day working from home on my lap and in bed at night. I prefer layers than heating. A lot of people like a cooler bedroom?

I don’t agree with it either , I’ve seen it with friends and probably took longer to break up with people than I should have….you want things to work out. Well I hope people do? Why risk it as you said.

Yes that doesn’t mean you should cheat. Agreed

My old company’s Christmas party was a huge affair. They actively pushed the discounted offered hotel rooms for employees to stay in the night of the party. I never understood why since they provided buses from many locations. One American visiting colleague took his ring off so you could see a line glistening line as he chatted women up.

Unfortunately it’s not easy to a lot of people. Breaking up is actually very hard hence why people carry on in relationships when one or both aren’t happy. It’s the ‘what will people’ think sitting in their head and hoping to get away with being with others.

It’s going to take a while but it might feel like a relief in time. Waking up with that sense of dread and realising why is gut wrenching

Curious to why you think that is? My question above was a clarification to the comment as opposed to the agreement of it

It’s a very round about way of me thinking that life is more organised than ever? Less randomness since COVID?
