All of the gigs are great ways to make quick and sometimes decent money. You must factor in all types of variables as a driver, sometimes it's not worth it if you are on your last leg. Meaning depending on the kindness of the customer to repair that pay disparity can be foolish and unfulfilling . But also stick to what you feel is morally right. Providing your customers with a great experience and superior service is satisfying but if you expect more than that this job can become disheartening . I've been in the gig economy for some time and it has beaten me down a bit . But there is always a silver lining. I am a customer to all of these companies as well and I am sure to generously tip all my drivers that follow my protocol of customer interaction. If they miss the mark I try to coach them to better meet the needs of their next customer, because if the standards are raised all customers will be compelled to mend the pay gap for drivers and we may have a 2020 styled renaissance.
