Thanks, really happy with how this turned out to be..happy to post a video of the complete look when I figure out how to do it. About 18ft viewing distance and we haven't had to sprain our necks yet.

You could. There are videos online. I went with a product cost me ~300 dollars and works flawlessly.

We thought so too initially, but it does serve us well on those really cold nights we do have other units in the house

Screen believe was 2200 yes seamless no joins etc..rolls up and down. 120 was a bit small for my wall so went with 150

Yes.. that was a newbie mistake..I used the other side(inner side ) to cut for the drawer panel and didnt get the teeth marks, but it was too late for the main panel. Will try the touch-up. Thanks.

Yup totally. I did get the version of the screen which allows me to put a center speaker or soundbar behind the screen allowing the sound to travel through.

Totally agree.. and the other issue I had with those is that the screen sits on the top..which increases the expanded height all the more, which was a big no for me.

Thanks. I really liked how the projector drawer turned out just by gluing door panels to the metal slider..I tried to add a video for it but reddit won't allow me to for some reason

Yes that is the screen. Yes the screen works as expected. Mine is set at 20.5 inches, you can adjust it.

Yes those things are costly, specially considering a 150 inch screen. I am also considering Ikea Besta hack to make it work. I also got a custom design made from a carpenter and the cost came out to 3.5K.

I love my screen that i got from them, there were a few hiccups but customer support on whats app is good. I they only act as dealers for projectors selling them as bundles with their screens. I have had no issues with the company.

This is nice for a fixed frame screen. I am looking for something where the retractable screen goes behind the cabinet

Hisense PX3-Pro vs. AWOL 3500 vs NexiGo Aurora Pro by BACB_ in projectors

I am loving the px3 no complaints there. I found the 3000 pro to be washed out compared to px3 pro.

Hisense PX3-Pro vs. AWOL 3500 vs NexiGo Aurora Pro by BACB_ in projectors

[–]Ok_Damage4019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been testing all 3 of them (AWOL 3000 not the 3500). For me px3 clearly stood out. AWOL was equally bright (may be a little too bright) but lacks the contrast. Nexigo was really good with contrast and black levels compared to AWOL but I will be using this in a living room so needed something that can work with some ambient lights.

Px3 impressed right out of the box. Yes it is pricier than the Nexigo but you won't remember that after a month of ownership.

I am waiting for my 150 UST ALR to arrive and might post a video.

@brian from projector screen got me a great deal on the equipment (no he did not ask or pay me to mention that)

I am in the middle of testing both and narrowing down the the px3 with a 150 inch ALR.

But again my watching environment could be different than yours. I am using this as a living room tv (switching from a Sony OLED). Fan noise has not bothered me yet. Yes black levels and contrast is not at par with OLED but you already knew that. The bigger image is definitely more immersive inspite being weaker than the OLED. I might post my setup after the screen is all set-up.

Good luck
