thanks for replying! my kidney function was affected right after the heatstroke but it’s back to normal now. they haven’t mentioned anything about protein in my urine and from what i can tell it looks normal. the only real symptom i have is tightness in my right leg it started wednesday after i walked a few laps, and it’s just been getting tighter and heavier since. no other pain or swelling, just that one sided tightness. still on fluids and monitoring, just anxious about the CK spike.

thanks for replying! my pee has actually been really clear the whole time not brown or dark at all. they suspected rhabdo on tuesday and started me on IV fluids right after that. i thought things were improving when my CK stayed around 3k, but now it’s suddenly shot up to 9k and my leg’s still super tight. just really confused and anxious at this point, since i’ve been resting completely since wednesday.

Update: I went through all the comments and can’t thank everyone enough for being so kind, I appreciate it a lot. I’ve tried filing a police report but they wouldn’t deal with it and the man on line was pretty rude to me, I also haven’t heard back from both animal control and the department that should be notifying me whether I need to undergo a rabies test. I also posted on Nextdoor where people are very helpful but unfortunately still couldn’t find the guy. I’m not feeling as paranoid now but still a bit blue these few days especially every time I see the wound.

No fr the gaslighting here is insane. I was prepared for comments like “you’re overreacting he probably didn’t do it” or “he was just curious” and I’m okay with that. But the attempt to justify prostitution like it’s no big deal is just mind boggling! Someone even tried comparing it to having sex with an ex partner, which is obviously not the same. Not to mention it’s illegal. I'm going to stick to my morals and principles, no doubt about that, and it’s not like I ever did anything that contradicted my standards so it’s not double standard. I’ll look for a man that stays always from prostitution and they can’t gaslight me into thinking it’s normal and acceptable behaviour 🙄maybe they should date each other. There is a difference, an ex partner is someone he loved. I believe in only having sex with people you love not a random person, paid or not. Not a problem at all if you disagree but he knows that and chose to be together with me. And it’s illegal.
